The Boots 70% Off Sale is hotly anticipated every January, when Boots boost their sale discount on Christmas Gift Sets, Fragrance etc. from 50% to 70% to clear their remaining stock.
The 2020 Boots 70% Off Sale Start Date is a closely guarded secret, and is usually only finalised by Boots management a few days before the 70% Sale happens, and then kept hush hush until it actually starts.
Right now the 2020 start date can only be an educated guess.
So when will the Boots 70 Percent Off Sale 2020 Start?
The Boots 70 Percent Off Sale start date has been getting later and later in recent years.
My best guess is that the Boots 70 Percent Off Sale 2020 will start on Friday 31st January 2020 i.e. once most people have had their January pay check. Mark your diary now! (My second best guess is Friday 24th January!)

Remember the Boots 70% Off Sale may be 'In-store Only' like last year. Whereas the 50% Off Sale has already started both online and in-store
Personally, I prefer to order online (where obviously you can select what you want from the biggest range possible) and avoid the risk of things not being in stock in-store.
Boots offer Order & Collect with next day collection from over 2,200 stores. Order & Collect costs only £1.50 or is free when you spend £10 or more.
Standard Delivery costs £3.50 or free when you spend £45 or more.
The best stuff sells out fast in the bigger Boots stores at 50% off, and even more so at 70% off. Nipping into a smaller store is often a good way of bagging a bargain already sold out elsewhere.
When the 70% off sale starts, to avoid disappointment it’s a good idea to take a more serendipitous approach.
Merrily take your pick from what’s actually still available in your local store when the 70% boost starts, rather than pin your hopes on something specific beforehand.

No one knows till boots release date. They will wait to they have sold as much as they can with 50% off. Last year there was hardly anything left in our local store

Boots don’t even tell their staff until the day of or the day before it goes down. They wait until most of the christmas stock has sold, which could literally be at any point. Apparently this year, their Christmas sales were really bad so there’s a lot of stock left. There’s never anything left in 90% of Boots stores by the time it gets down to 70% off and the website will be 90% sold out too.
sarahgreen15 my nearest boots is only a little one, they don't have a massive selection but usually still have a few bits in the 70% off sale that you can't get in bigger ones or online, so I'm fairly kucky what I miss out on in range makes up for bargains, if that makes sense

Hoping to pick up a few bargains as we only have a small Boots, not a massive selection to chose from but usually get something good as not a massive footfall, mostly people using the pharmacy

I love boots 70% sale event. So many bargains esp in the mini club clothes section. Missed it last year cuz I kept waiting until I lost truck and got distracted lol

Only the savvy staff work out when its going to be because they Rota more staff on for the day. Ok they only see it a week in advance but if they use their brains they can work it out. My friend works in boots and she always works it out but the Rota.
Most likely it will be in-store only, with only Boots mini club (baby clothing) being available both in-store and online, like in previous years.
Boots have just released a £10 off £50 in store offer on their App, starting 30 Jan, surely they won’t discount to 70% after releasing an offer like that?
