There are no fewer than seven restaurants at Jewel Runaway Bay, ranging from formal to casual and offering delicious cuisine from around the world. Aquamarina is a relaxed beach bar serving sandwiches, wraps and burgers, while Blue Bayou Grill offers Mexican and American food in the Jewel Lagoon Waterpark. Court Jesters is the place to go for huge wood-fired pizzas, while ocean-fresh sushi is on offer at Golden Saber. A more formal atmosphere can be enjoyed at the Platinum Restaurant, where delicious Caribbean food is served, and The Jade Samurai, where you’ll find exquisite Japanese teppanyaki.

Golf

Runaway Bay is a private 18-hole golf course right on your doorstep, which has been welcoming players from across the world since 1960. Green fees are included for guests, with carts, caddies, clubs and shoes available for additional fees. The 18-hole course is par 72 and has a beautiful setting overlooking the ocean.

Location

Sitting on a private stretch of beach on Runaway Bay, the resort is perfect if your idea of bliss is lounging on white sand and swimming in turquoise Caribbean waters. Beginners and veterans alike can scuba dive on thriving coral reefs and wrecked ships and planes, while basketball, beach volleyball, tennis and other non-motorised watersports are included too.

There’s plenty to explore on dry land too: excursions are on offer to zip-line through the treetops of Chukka Canopy, visit the tumbling Dunn’s River Falls, and explore the jungly slopes of Mystic Mountain. You're also a five-minute drive from Green Grotto Caves - one of the island's top natural attractions.
