I have found an awesome deal with an amazing price £199.99! You can get it from www.game.co.uk. Expand your options with Xbox Game Pass (subscription sold separately): discover over 100 great games, download titles you’ve always wanted to play, and revisit old favourites. Cloud saves let you take your games on the go, continuing the game on any Xbox One when you sign in with your Microsoft Account. Preorder and pre-install upcoming games so you’re ready to play the moment they launch. Whether you’re gaming, watching 4K entertainment, or streaming your gameplay on Mixer with the touch of a button, there’s never been a better way to game with Xbox One. Lovely deal with good price!
You can get the disc based version for less than this which gives you access to masses of cheap games including pre-owned and you can play bluray movies. Inside it is actually a normal Xbox One S with the disc drive removed and a new case and firmware. Realistically this should be something like £100 because of the many limitations of not having a optical drive.
Its not it should be £99.99 if Microsoft were doing their marketing right.
It lacks a blu ray player and will cause loads of problems if your internet is slow or dodgy!
Dont fall for the hype.
Anyone who is a gamer knows this is a terrible console and deal - just google it!
Do not waste your money on the digital edition!
When you can get the full one s with forza horizon 4 for £179.99
garygemmell I reckon it was designed to sell at a much lower price and come Christmas we may even see £99 bundles. I think the optical drive in the xbox one S is actually quite expensive being capable of reading Ultra HD blurays and a console without optical drive means customers are reliant on buying their games online mostly which is hugely more profitable for Microsoft. This introductory price of £199 is really for those who buy new stuff pretty quickly but most people would be better off buying the standard Xbox One S or at least waiting until the digital version is heavily discounted. I would of thought a price of £129 retail with discounting to £99 on Black Friday etc is its realistic price point. I personally would never buy a Xbox One S without an optical drive. I currently have the original Xbox One and don't even have Xbox live gold at the moment so this digital edition would be useless to me. I buy my xbox one games pre-owned for a few pounds and then sell them on for close to what I paid once I've completed them.
