Amazon has begun delivering free samples to select customer as part of an advertising drive
The products are individually curated based on past purchases
It has also extended it Key delivery service to customer garages
Amazon has begun sending shoppers free samples of products individually curated to their tastes amid its latest advertising initiative.
Select Amazon customers, who are not necessarily Prime members, are being sent samples of items like grocery products and pet food free of charge by the retail giant.
It is understood that Amazon uses a shopperโs purchasing history to determine which samples it will leave on their doorstep.

I was confused too but to embarrassed to mention about that as I thought Iโm doing something wrong Iโm glad it wasnโt just me
I believe you're just automatically signed up for it. If you click on the get freebie button the only thing that we see there is an 'opt-out' at any time link.
This seems good. How do I sign up? Thankyou for sharing though. Nice to see helpful people in the community
found this by google search .... https://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-to-opt-in-or-out-of-amazons-free-sample-program/
Re reading the artical you donโt apply by ๐ฐ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ will pick who gets a free item from their past buying history. Seems fair to me, those that use it & those that donโt get nothing!
Amazon says it surprises select customers with samples, adding that you donโt have to be a Prime member to receive freebies. Examples of products that have historically been sampled include coffee, dog food and granola bars.
Thanks for sharing zerocenturyzero I've changed the link to go to the Amazon samples preference page and included the originally linked to article in your post's description
That's a link to Amazon.com though. Not Amazon.co.uk which is different isn't it? I always by through .co.uk and cannot use my prime on .com, Is there a preference page for .co.uk. I've looked and couldn't find one.
How can I sign up? I tried and it said you cannot login bla bla. But I checked everything was ok
so amazon sends you samples on your shopping habits the only problem is that the sample programme is only on amazon, com not on the .co.uk site so you have NO shopping habits if your on the UK site, pretty pointless really.
Very interesting but bet I'm not picked or only get samples based on presents I've bought people
I think this is USA only, certain features have not been rolled out in UK yet. I'm a prime member.
I looked at the link and took me to .com not. UK site.
I might be wrong but it's not UK as far as I could see.
My dad once got sent a sample of new dairy milk chocolate from Amazon it was very random! im guessing this is like the same thing? i dont know how many people on here got that if any
It's more for the USA market thairs planty of Freeby sites in the UK for anyone who wants free samples
Guys, for those of you wondering I think every Amazon customer is automatically signed up for this? Clicking on the Get Freebie button leads us to the FAQ which details that people can 'opt-out' at any time. Usually things like 'opt-out' aren't used by companies unless they've already done something on your behalf.
"If you shell out the annual ยฃ79 ($99) fee to be an Amazon Prime member, you can now get โfreeโ samples."
Guys you dont sign upto for it, its just something they do randomly for their customers who have an account with them. I received a freebie a while back small pack of cadburys biscuits.
