Amazon Underground is closing down (officially by 2019) and Amazon is already taking steps already (they've released a new app called 'Amazon Appstore) so it's worth checking out their list of apps/games.
The Underground marketplace has tons of apps and games but most of them are just crap. I'll list below games that could be worth downloading, in my opinion.

thanks for sharing but i can't see any of these free games on the app but can on my laptop.. any ideas why? do I need to install the old app instead of the new app called app store?
JohnCross for some reason they now don't show up on Amazon Shopping / Amazon Underground / Amazon Appstore so gotta just search for each one individually.

Edit: John, this link above allows you to download the Actually Free games/apps whereas the Amazon UK link doesn't for some reason. I take it Amazon is doing what they can to get rid of Amazon Underground without bringing up too much attention.
People who want the free games/apps better download around these days than a few months later because who knows if they do the same on the Amazon US link too. Don't forget, you can always make APK backup files (with ES File Explorer Pro or whatever other app).
I've been downloading some and even made a specific folder for Actually Free 'cause those icons just look a bit strange next to the normal game icons without "Actually Free" on them.
Rockman when i click download on the actually free links all it is showing is a 'get started' button then a page to download 'Amazon Underground'. How exactly did you manage to download an apk, as going round in circles here. thanks
Just downloaded the Amazon App again, but it is downloadin the new one and not the old one, maybe that is the problem? In the app it wont let me download the games due to geographical location.
so if there's any way you can share the apks then it would be appreciated
JohnCross Hey, so I did the apk test on another phone and the apk did open but required to log in to the Amazon account I originally downloaded from.
The best way to handle the whole Amazon Underground apps charade is to get them from Amazon US, and everything else (normal UK account/orders) keep it separated. This way, the geographical issue that pops up won't even be a problem then.
If you have a spare Amazon account that you don't use then change the settings and address to a US one and use it exclusively for Amazon Underground apps. Use this website to generate a fake US address if you need: http://www.fakeaddressgenerator.com/World/us_address_generator
EDIT: Scratch that. I've just tried changing an account to US-only and it still doesn't work. It's not worth the hassle.
Better ask Amazon UK rep for how to download the Actually Free without being hit with the geographical thing.

This is the Amazon UK link to download Amazon Underground apps/games but there's a downside, there's still the geographical issue so I assume that's a screw up by Amazon than the customers trying to get a game from a different region.
