Covid-secure collections
Depending on your preference, our van crews will either collect from your room of choice, your doorstep or an alternative safe access point. Collections will be signature free.
Keeping you and our teams safe
Our van crews are unable to collect from a household where a member is suffering from Covid-19 symptoms, is self-isolating or has tested positive within the last 14 days. Our team will check for this when they discuss your collection, so please only complete this form if you know your household is coronavirus free.
They're a bit fussy. Booked to pick up a few things, all decent condition. Decided it would be too hard to sell the pine bookcase and TV unit so wouldn't take it. I thought I was donating to help furnish a home 
waveydavey69 I suppose that you could help furnish a home by putting it up on Facebook Marketplace or Freecycle/Freegle instead, if charity shops won't take it βΊ
ryh Good thinking. I don't know why they wouldn't take those things. Years ago they wouldn't take a perfectly good 4 piece suite as it didn't still have the fire label on! Who keeps those things on after the item is delivered?! So much for reduce, reuse & recycle!
I've used this charity to collect things in the past. Always polite and professional. The website is clear about how to pack things ready for collection

In these strange times it is harder to go yourself and donate so, yes, it's a great idea.
