Would you like to train with a Hollywood stunt man? Keen on learning Persian dance? Interested in hearing a first-hand account of the investigation behind the Russian doping scandal? These are just a few of the brand-new activities added to the British Science Festival programme!
Whether you’re raring to unleash your inner Olympian, or just want to chill out and take in the good vibes on the veranda with food and friends, there’s something for everyone in our newly announced evening event: Late night fitness: raising the bar. Find out more here.
These events join over a hundred others throughout the week, including Tackling food poverty with celebrity chef Jack Monroe, The Sky at Night: Question Time, Perfect Bodies with Professor Alice Roberts and In Conversation with Konnie Huq.
Other highlights include unforgettable interactive experiences like a live 3-D psychedelic show and festival carpool in a driverless pod, discussions on how ‘gaming becomes gambling’, how AI could revolutionise cancer treatment, and stand-up comedy shows.
Not to mention, a mud kitchen and tea-blending for adults and a takeover of Coventry’s FarGo Village and The Botanist, complete with comedy, artistic workshops and hands-on activities.
All events are entirely free, but most require booking. Find out more on our website.
Oh gosh, my beautiful friend who sadly died a few years ago was a Hollywood stunt man, he would have loved me to have a go at this, though Im sure I can make him proud some other way without any airborne practices . Looks an interesting event, love the variety and opportunities described
That is so sad. I feel sure, as you do, that you could take part in a non-dangerous way and still know that he is chuckling through the clouds at your antics. Have a lovely day AtiraLumena
