Has anybody been successful in getting this? I'm only asking as I went into my local store a few weeks ago (I also tried Boots) and asked for a sample and the consultant refused to give me one. She told me that because of Coronavirus they are not allowed to test on your skin to see which colour would suit you. I said that I'd done the colour match on my phone app, so knew what colour I would like to try. However, she still refused and then went on to say that the rules were that if I bought a full-size bottle of it and then decided it was not suitable, I could return it.
I will try and ask at a couple concession stands next week then report back, hope I get it!
cinders I have had a lot of trouble receiving samples of foundation and other beauty products as well. It depends on where you go. People seem to be more friendly in boots, debhanems and Fenwick shops when I go out of town and I always receive a couple of samples but when I go shopping in my local stores I receive nothing. And the people are frosty. I know for a fact they keep the samples for themselves. Last week I was in boots and I asked a man if they had the new YSL Libre sample, he asked a fellow store worker and I overheard her say to him 'we do but I am going to keep them for myself and my friend. So don't give it to her'. I was in the body shop last month, asked if I can collect a free £25 loyalty set I received in my email. They said in store that there were none left. The women did a show of searching the whole store, including the back of the shop and promised they had none. Until I picked up a lot of items to buy and she went 'well if you are getting all those then I can check again'. She ducked under her desk and pulled my free £25 set she claimed wasn't in store from under the till in three seconds
All the beauty counters are closed, giving out no samples, so I'm not sure this one will work.

Omg this Foundation is amazing it has to be said!! If you feel it's a little heavy, just mix it with a drop or two of your face moisturizer using a cotton bud e.g... plus if you do mix it you won't need to use as much! House of Fraser or Boots are the best stores to head for when you are deciding which store to go and get your sample from... Debenhams sometimes get really quite shirty!! But if you know what shade you want, don't let them shoo you away, be friendly but do stand your ground if they try and push you into having a consultation if you do not need or want one, just say thanks but I really do not have the time but thank you anyway!
