Join us for a special recording of Radio 4’s Bookclub with Sara Collins, as she talks about her acclaimed debut novel The Confessions of Frannie Langton.

Set in early 19th century London, the novel tells the gripping story of Frannie Langton, a young Black woman on trial for the shocking murders of the couple she worked for. If you want to learn more about the book, its creation, and the author behind it, we’d love for you to join us.

The recording takes place at BBC New Broadcasting House on Tuesday 21 January at 6.15pm.

If you are successful in your application, please send any questions you’d like to ask Sara about the book to bookclub@bbc.co.uk.

Bookclub is shaped by audience questions, so this is a great chance to get involved in a lively conversation with presenter James Naughtie and Sara Collins.

**Please note, all attendees must be 18 or over.**

How to be in the audience

Step 1: Apply for tickets

Tickets for this show are being allocated on a first-come first-served basis, so when we receive your ticket request your details are added to the list of applicants. Tickets are usually dispatched from approximately three weeks ahead of the recording date.

Step 2: Receive a message

All eligible requests are allocated tickets in the order they are received, up to the maximum number of available tickets. If successful, we notify you by text message and send your e-ticket(s) to your email address. If unsuccessful you will be kept on the waiting list in case anyone cancels their tickets.

Step 3: Bring your tickets and ID

We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people. Remember that every guest must bring original approved photo ID.
