Free neutering
The 'C4' scheme, established in 2002, is a joint initiative by major animal charities working in Greater London to tackle the problem of too many cats.
There are thousands of unwanted, neglected and stray cats in London, yet their plight could have been easily been prevented by neutering.
We offer FREE neutering for cats within the M25 area whose owners receive certain state benefits, are on a low income or are students. The scheme also includes neutering of stray cats being temporarily fed.

A similar scheme has been available for years now in my area but unfortunately there are too many irresponsible and neglectful people out there who STILL don't bother to get their cats neutered!

Thank you for sharing. I do hope people take full advantage of this scheme and others that are similar. I myself had both of my girls spayed on the voucher scheme which helped reduce the total cost. Not only does it prevent over population / unwanted litters and decrease the amount of unwanted animals in rescues but it helps reduce them straying and has health benefits.
Please people spay / neuter your animals.
Poi Yes! Your comment encapsulated why it is so important that people take more care and responsibility for their animals. I feel that if you're not prepared or fully able to do the right thing for these adorable animals then please think again before you take one into your home....

I just typed into the internet and found this https://www.cats.org.uk/what-we-do/neutering You might want to take a look as it states 'Find out about our regional neutering campaigns to see if you are eligible for free, Β£5 or Β£10 neutering offers in your area.' So, perhaps not free, but greatly reduced? 
That's a lot better than I could of hoped for. I worry so much about timmy straying and he won't be kept in lol I appreciate your help, thank you xx
