Free Hearing Test (Android) — Do a Hearing Test Right in Your Home!

Boots and Specsavers offer free hearing tests and will book to do thorough tests which could be in 2-4 days time (if necessary) but what would you say to a test in your own house, eh? The app Hearing Test by e-audiologia.pl (Polish developer) is an app that accurately analyzes a person's hearing though, of course, you'll need to be in a room with very little to no noise and with reliable headphones (even affordable ones are okay to do this test but that can cause the results to be a bit different if you're unable to hear it clearly — Then again, that could be your own hearing than an issue with the headphones). Preferably, this should be used on a tablet rather than a smartphone because it makes good use of a large screen with the results and buttons alongside it.

I just want to say that I am not endorsed by e-audiologia.pl in any way but rather just want to share this great handy app! Everyone should make sure that they get their hearing checked so it can be taken care of before it worsens.

App Description

Pure-tone audiometry is the basic hearing examination which determines the degree of hearing loss in relation to the sound frequency.

Hearing Test Features:

• Pure tone audiometry using bundled headphones and predefined calibration coefficients from the database (possible for systematically increasing number of devices),
• Calibration of the device (in the case of lack of predefined coefficients or for headphones other than bundled).
