You can spend as long as you like on an OpenLearn course, plus, if you sign up you can track your progress and work towards a statement of participation.

This is a great introduction to university and their courses. I am doing a masters myself, but I'm doing to do a few free courses just to top up my knowledge.

I've been wanting to get a degree but going back to uni isn't an option, having the ability to study at my pace and at my schedule.

I have just had a look and seen a few would like to complete
This could give people who have low self confidence or no confidence at all, the lift to prove to themselves that they can still make something of themselves, without having to spend a penny.
