Firstly, thanks so much for requesting a pack of our free sample cards for our new range of natural British fragrances. As a small family run business we are delighted at the level of interest there is in our new venture and the positive feedback we have had from our customers so far.

Unfortunately, our offer of free sample cards has recently been promoted incorrectly on a  ‘freebie’ website without our consent and the clever folk who manage our website have advised us that this listing then triggered a spam response from a foreign website which almost caused our website to crash…. As a consequence we are now unable to identify the genuine requests in our inbox from potential new customers (who we would love to get to know) from the fake requests generated by a pesky spam programme☹.

All our sample cards are prepared and dispatched by hand and we need to be sure that they are going to real people, who are genuinely interesting in supporting our new business and potentially purchasing a fragrance. If that’s you then please can you respond to this email including the phrase ‘I am a real person and am genuinely looking for a new perfume’ within your email and we will add you to our real enquiries list.

The number of requests are such that there may be a slight delay in getting the sample cards posted so please bear with us. We also want to politely ask that you reconsider your request if you are just after a freebie. Please note that our sample cards are sprayed with our perfumes to help you choose your favourite as we hope you will then buy your perfume from us - they are not free perfume samples. As a new business we only have limited budget for the free sample cards currently on offer and would love them to go to genuine potential customers. Thanks for your understanding.
