About the Program
Writing Beach offers a unique and engaging way to help children aged 7-14 to understand the building blocks of written language whilst having fun. Learn about sentence structure, grammar, punctuation and strategies that give children a structure they can follow when writing.
Students with dyslexia have difficulty writing and often find it hard to put an idea into words. But once they are shown a few simple planning techniques suddenly writing becomes manageable. Writing Beach breaks these skills down into small, manageable stages.
Children with dyslexia often find it difficult to grasp grammatical ideas. They struggle to remember concepts like nouns, verbs and adjectives because they are not concrete, they canβt be imagined.
Those with dyslexia need a different approach. Nessy uses video strategies, games and worksheets to make these concepts memorable.
