Yes you're right, I posted it first but you can never win with moderators' posts, they will remove yours even if it was first, they put mine into moderation with some ridiculous reasons...

Now it's stuck in review again but they won't bother again as it expires tonight, they won't even give the points back and it's not the first time it happened...

sunshinemum yours was reported as link not going directly as it went to Facebook and not directly to the merchant it was then moderated with non relevant text as you adding some non relevant none deal info into there. You were notified twice of this in the moderation reasoning. Mods are not untouchable we don’t get points or get paid to take have nasty comments directed at us. When mine was posted it did not flag as a dupe because yours goes to Facebook login page and not direct to the merchant. If you are posting for boots, your link goes to boots not Facebook where you may have seen the deal. Hope this makes sense. emmabeckz But how am I supposed to know this? When I click on my link it takes me to the Krispy Kreme post on Facebook, not to main Facebook page, you have posted link to their official website but there's nowhere mentioned there about the promo...so I thought Facebook post was a better option... These moderation messages are not very clear...

Then regarding the non-relevant info, it was just a message for the moderator who picks it up, from my experience, if there's no message with the explanation added, it's hard to get the post back, these messages were always deleted once read in the past... Anyway just removed them so you can delete everyting as the deal is almost finished anyway...

My comments were not directed at you but post moderation in general, I am sorry to say that but I had similar situation in the past. It was a Lego magazine post that was shared after mine as sponsored post by LD Team with exactly the same link and when I reported it as duplicate, it was my post that got removed instead and points taken away... So how is that fair? Same for when I post a correct link but LD changes it behind the scenes and I loose the points for that... It happens a lot recently...

sunshinemum I had quite a few things 'moderated' a while ago which is partly why I don't actually post much these days - it's not worth my sanity as it is frustrating when things are/were removed for reasons I could not fathom.

tumblespots you're absolutely right, it's also not worth my sanity so I have stopped posting altogether and I feel so much better already, in my case it was also lots of comments being removed unfairly as apparently expressing your opinions or even just advising someone that their deal is not that good is not very welcomed here I miss the old LD where we were just few and it was much more friendly and you could actually get some real help when using contact form rather than robotic answers but anyway don't want to say too much as this comment may be gone before you can even read it so take care, wish you all the best and hopefully someone will take over mag comps soon...

sunshinemum I thought something was up as you hadn't posted the mag comps - you know who will take them over don't you! We will have to be careful as the answers aren't always right when that person posts! I agree though, having posts constantly removed isn't worth it when you really can't work out why the posts are removed in the first place.

tumblespots Thanks for your message There are many competition forums where you can check your answers, some are better than others, I think our friend might be using the wrong source, hence all these wrong answers
