CherylParry but the deal title is misleading, and so is it being in freebies - it's, at best, a deal - it's not actually free.
It's essentially clickbait - you're luring people in with the promise of Stondon free. They have to click into it to then find that it's actually not free, leading to annoyance. Do you like clicking into a deal (or online articles) that claims one thing and then is something completely different when you actually read it? Most people don't.
MeestairChrees there's not a great deal of freebies that actually have free postage, but I see your point.
CherylParry FYI the guidelines page linked in the footer of the website says a freebie must be free, with no spend required.
You get some people posting actual freebies as deals too (probably because they earn more points) which also isn't helpful, so the freebies list won't include those - the site unfortunately is a bit of a mess with people not following guidelines like these. But we can help by following them and encouraging others to as well, to make deal hunting/sharing easier for everyone.
MeestairChrees it means no spend apart from postage. For example buy one get one free, would be an offer. When posting freebies, it gives you the option to apply postage.
MeestairChrees then you'd better tell the other people that have posted freebies with postage costs too!
Unfortunately got to agree with comments here. It wouldn't cost £8 to ship this. It's becoming common now for retailers to whack cost of the product on shipping. Thanks for sharing though. Nothing against you.
Added postage cost to description for people that can't see the delivery cost with the icon and the little van on the picture!
So where do you post a deal if the product is free but there is a postage cost?
Is it free or is it a deal?
It's supposed to be posted as a freebie, obviously you fill in the part which tells people about postage costs. It would be a deal if you had to buy something to get something free.
What is it with these companies giving away freebies with extortionate p&p costs? But thank you anyway.
