frequently asked questions

Are there any age restrictions?

Where we know the BBFC rating at the time of booking, we'll make sure you have it on your ticket. However, sometimes, films are rated just before the screening. We always recommend you check the bbfc.co.uk website for the latest age restriction information. Please also note that we may request proof of age.

How do I get tickets?

Choose the screening you’d like to go to, apply and if you are successful, you'll see the booking confirmation on screen. We'll also email you the confirmation. You can print it or just show it on your phone when you go to the screening. Please check all details, tickets and age restrictions before the screening.

Am I guaranteed a seat?

Having tickets does not 100% guarantee entry, but it is very unlikely that you wouldn't get a seat. Like airlines and hotels, we do over-issue tickets a little bit to account for no-shows to make sure the cinema is reasonably full. It is rare, but possible that a screen is overbooked. We'll try to let you into another film if that happens.

How many tickets can I get?

You can usually apply for up to four tickets for each film title.

Can I book tickets for more than one preview screening?

Yes, you can book for each film subject to availability.

Can I choose where I sit at the screening?

Seats will be allocated on the day of the screening on a first-come, first-served basis so you won't be able to choose a specific seat in advance.

I booked two tickets. Will they be for seats next to each other?

If you arrive together then it is likely you will be seated together as seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis on entry but we are unable to guarantee this. Please arrive early for the best seats.

Where are the preview screenings?

Locations vary for each screening so please check the cinema list at the time of booking.

What's the waiting list?

Once all tickets are booked for an event, you can add yourself to a waiting (or cancellations) list. If tickets are subsequently cancelled, we'll send them to the waiting list in order of application.

I’m in a wheelchair/I have mobility issues – will there be suitable access and facilities for me?

If you have any special accessibility requirements, you will need to book tickets using the standard process. When you receive confirmation that you have been allocated tickets, contact us at support@weticketit.com to let us know your needs. We can then contact the event venue to check accessibility and let you know. In some instances, notice of accessible seating may only be available at short notice. If wheelchair spaces are available, these will be offered on a first-come first-served basis.

How do I cancel my tickets?

You can do this at any time before the event by clicking the cancellation link in your confirmation or reminder email.

I can’t go to a cinema preview screening I booked. Can I give my ticket to someone else?

It’s your name on the ticket and we will sometimes ask to see ID at the screening so we don't recommend you give the tickets to someone else. If you can’t make it, please cancel your tickets and they'll be allocated to someone on the waiting list.

How do I change the name on my tickets?

You can’t change the name so if you can’t make it, please cancel your tickets so someone else can make use of them.

What type of ID do I need to bring with me?

Please bring your driving licence or credit card to show your name matches the one on your tickets.

Didn’t find the answer you were looking for?

Email us at support@weticketit.com. Please don’t email us to cancel your tickets. If you need to cancel your tickets, take a look at ‘How do I cancel my tickets?’
