I hope you're still happy when you find you've paid £2:50 for a virtually worthless bit of metal - and that you're not too unhappy if you suffer the same fate as other customers.https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/londonmintoffice.org

davidstockport i purchased as the picture on it reminds my mum of my late father.also the half crown reminds my mum of her childhood. both this and another one i got her last year will be buried with my parents ashes after my mum passes away.

charlie251 But you've bought from a company who obviously scam people - you could have bought a REAL half crown for 99p with free p&p on ebay (without the risk of being scammed again as most of the people who wrote the reviews were) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HALF-CROWN-ELIZABETH-2ND-COIN-CHOICE-OF-YEAR-1953-TO-1967/352579108281?_trkparms=aid%3D555018%26algo%3DPL.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140122125356%26meid%3Dc67869fae776413bb67a64f3a709c8fe%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D200933718379%26itm%3D352579108281&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

charlie251 What rude comment? - You seem a little over sensitive my comments are merely to try to help others not get mixed up with this company - the TrustPilot reviews are abysmal. (I take it you didn't read them). Another thing about this kind of thing, often overlooked, is that those who respond to this type of scam go on a "gullible list" sold to other companies . You MIGHT find an increase in junk mail and spam email.

Still as long as you don't mind paying exorbitant postal charges - to be sent virtually worthless "trinkets" that shouldn't bother you.

davidstockport im not bothered at all.as stated earlier this is the second of their coins ive bought, the last one being last year. arrived within a week both times. nicely packaged. no increase in junk mail or spam at all. the only correspondence ive received is the receipt of the 2 coins.

charlie251 Don't be bothered - if you're happy to part with exorbitant amounts supposedly for the p&p on a FREE item that is your business.

But please don't try to get others involved with your praise of the FREE DEAL.

Incidentally you didn't mention where you saw the advert for the one you ordered last week this one was only posted three days ago (the same day as your comment).

Are we to take it you're on the "gullible list" (you say you've dealt with them before) and already get the junk mail? (I do realise that is just one possibility)😀

Of course it is uncirculated quality it is not a genuine coin so can't go into circulation. Saying it is OFFICIAL is questionable.

The truth is: this is a piece of metal costing a few pence to manufacture - that will never increase in value.

Want PROOF... it is marked "Half a Crown" that would be twelve and a half pence, half pence were abandoned way back in the 1980s.

The London Mint has no connection with the ROYAL Mint - where genuine coins are made.

Anyone in any doubt should take a few minutes to read this - it might not be just £2.50 you're scammed out of! https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/londonmintoffice.org
