davekay As long as they can see the barcode in the email it's fine. This is what it says in the email 'Simply show this barcode on your mobile (or printed voucher) to a member of staff by 10th September 2018 to redeem your complimentary sample.*'

I went in once to get a sample of their sunscreen with an email and they'd run out but the lovely lady on the till got a little plastic pot and squeezed some from the sample bottle on the shelf so I could still try it. They are normally super lovely staff in there.

annacat I guess it depends where it is. Often in big shopping centres the staff are tired of people only coming in for freebies they can give you a bit of attitude but I can understand that, especially during a busy period

davekay Yeah that makes sense. To be fair I'm a sucker for The Body Shop so I often end up buying something and then asking at the till after for the sample I actually went in for which is probably why they're nice to me
