Roddy Hart hosts a very special edition of The Quay Sessions, showcasing two illustrious singer-songwriters performing at Celtic Connections Festival 2025.

Loudon Wainwright III has carved out a distinguished career. He's released over thirty albums, won a Grammy, and had his songs recorded by artists including Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt, and his own son Rufus Wainwright. He returns to Scotland for an appearance at Celtic Connections as he prepares to release a new live album. Expect to be treated to a unique live set from an incredible artist.

Joining the bill is the force of nature that is Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall. It's 20 years since KT released her brilliant debut album Eye To The Telescope, and she'll be sharing songs from that album and much more as she returns to The Quay Sessions for this solo set.

Tickets will be allocated by random draw.

You can register at any time until 8pm on Monday 13 January.

How to be in the audience

Step 1: Apply for tickets

Tickets for this show are being allocated by random draw, so when we receive your ticket request your details are added to the list of applicants. Applications are accepted until the publicised closing date/time.

Step 2: Receive a message

Once the random draw has closed all eligible requests are entered into the draw. If successful, we notify you by text message and send your e-ticket(s) to your email address. If unsuccessful you will be kept on the waiting list in case anyone cancels their tickets.

Step 3: Bring your tickets and ID

We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people. Remember that every guest must bring original approved photo ID.
