Send a free Mother’s Day card till 20th March 2020, only need to pay for postage costs (price of a 1st class stamp 70p)
amaksy really thankful as didn't fancy going town with all this madness going on and I've sent straight to her address so all good thanks again xx
Sorry entered this on the phone app and there’s no option to add postage costs so will do so on the computer/ website if no handy helper beats me to it first lol....all done now
Thank you, I just ordered the daffodil one with no text. It will come in handy for someone's birthday or notelet later (my mum has passed)
The one on the photo is rather derogatory, but the other designs are super cute and lovely.
So I went to order and what they claim on the website does not quite match the results at checkout. The postage price is actually 70p (I'm not up to date whether the stamp prices went up recently), not 67p - see image for an order summary.
cookiewithcarro thanks
Yes the price of a 1st class stamp is now 70p “The cost of a first-class stamp will go up to 70p and the price of a second-class stamp for a standard letter will rise to 61p. Royal Mail guidelines state a standard letter must be a maximum size of 24cm x 16.5cm x 5mm and can’t weigh more than 100g.”
They also claim that the next card ordered to the same address will only add 30p of p&p, I'm fact it adds 35p on top of the 70p for the first class postage making it a total of £1.05 if you are buying 2 cards... Lastly, I might have not understood it fully but I was under an impression that it's possible to order another free card for the extra 30p, as stated, so customised the second card for my brother to give to mum but on the order summary it shows the second card at full price and the "p&p" comes up as only 70p, while it should be the 1.05 it makes you pick literally above that summary...
What a brilliant find, thanks for sharing. Just placed my order and told one of my sons about it, he best not forget this year
