Aldi Slashes Price of Prosecco to Under £5 – But You’ll Need To Move Fast

- Aldi drops price of its Italian Prosecco to just £4.99
- 38% off top-quality DOCG fizz – but deal ends May 25
- Other wines on offer for as little as £3.99 a bottle
- Just in time for the Spring Bank Holiday weekend
- Limited-time offers available in-store only
Forget Champagne – savvy shoppers are racing to Aldi this week to snap up bottles of Prosecco for less than a fiver.
The discount supermarket has knocked 38% off its fancy-sounding Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG – now going for just £4.99 a bottle. But the sparkling offer ends on Saturday 25 May, and it’s only available in-store.
Described as having “crisp apple and pear notes” with “delicate floral aromas”, the fizz is being hailed as a budget-friendly treat for the Spring Bank Holiday. Whether you’re hosting mates, heading out for a picnic, or just fancy a Friday night glass of something bubbly, the timing couldn’t be better.
But that’s not all Aldi’s knocked down. Its Animus Douro red – with “plum and cedar notes” – and a South African Sauvignon Blanc – packed with “zesty lime and cut grass” – are both now just £3.99, down by 25% and 33% respectively.
Aldi’s cheap booze blitz means you can stock up for your Bank Holiday bash without rinsing your wallet. Each bottle is 75cl, and you’ll need to visit your nearest store, as the deal isn’t available online.
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk the discount code platform said, “Aldi knows how to time its deals right – just ahead of the Bank Holiday, this Prosecco offer will be flying off the shelves. It's a savvy move for anyone planning a picnic, party or BBQ on a budget.”
