Aldi has stepped into the new year with its latest plant-based offerings, perfect for those seeking affordable, healthy alternatives post-festivities. Inspired by the TikTok smash burger craze, Aldi introduces its Plant Menu No Chicken Smash Burgers, priced at £1.99 for 227g. These high-protein, low-fat delights come in three mouthwatering varieties: Tex Mex, BBQ, and Chargrilled. Infused with chicory root fibre, they provide a gut health boost.

Additionally, Aldi's selection now includes Gut Health Greek Style and Immunity Moroccan Style Chicken Ready Meals, both priced at £2.89 for 380g.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented, "It's great to see Aldi expanding their affordable plant-based range with gut health in mind."

I've had some Vegan burgers from Aldi in the past and they were vile and were inedible for me, hopefully these are better than those, you wonder if anyone at Aldi actually tried them. I think I probably have about a success rate of 20% where a Vegan burger has a nice flavour, probably a little more for Vegan sausages.

Personally I wouldn't set your expectations too high and you might be pleasantly surprised.
