Aldi Unveils Unique Brussels Sprout Hot Sauce at £3.49

  • Aldi partners with Sauce Shop to launch festive sauces, including a spicy cranberry honey variety.
  • East England leads UK sprout sales, making the sauce debut there particularly exciting.
  • Available in stores from November 28th.

Aldi is shaking up the condiment world with a daring new addition to its lineup, thanks to a collaboration with Sauce Shop. Introducing the Brussels Sprout Kimchi Hot Sauce, priced at £3.49 for a 155g bottle, this sauce promises to add a spicy twist to holiday meals. Made with Brussels sprout kimchi and green jalapeños, mixed with festive seasonings, it aims to win over even the most skeptical sprout eaters.

The release is expected to be a hit in East England, where Brussels sprout sales top the charts, accounting for 11% of the UK’s total last year. The culinary creation was inspired by Sauce Shop founders James and Pam Digva, who experimented with fermenting sprouts at home. Pam Digva expressed her enthusiasm: "We’ve taken our passion for fermentation and applied it to something unexpected — Brussels sprouts."

Also part of this festive range is the Spiced Cranberry Hot Honey Sauce, blending mulled wine spices with cranberry and honey. With nearly a billion views on TikTok, #hothoney is clearly trending. Both sauces are priced at £3.49 and will be joined by other popular Sauce Shop items like the Spicy Breakfast Sauce and Honey Chipotle BBQ Sauce.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented, "Aldi and Sauce Shop are bringing something adventurous to the table, perfect for those willing to try new flavors this Christmas.

This really doesn't seem like news especially at the £3.49 price which seems a complete rip off and sounds absolutely disgusting. Isn't it about time Latestdeals was rebranded 'Latestdeals by Aldi' as so much promotional news material for that supermarket is on this site? Call me mad but I come into the news site looking for actual news rather than press releases from Aldi. It's a weird random collection of news but surely Latestdeals should be about news about actual deals. Whose having a sale, big promotions for certain stores. Clever ways to save money etc.
