Pay a subscription and get free games makes no sense at all of course. It's a subscription service with a benefit of access to some games. They definitely aren't free. Epic games offers free weekly games with no subscription required, Amazon prime does not.
£9 a month is £108 a year or £564 over five years. Many people have had their prime subscription long term beyond even 5 years.
For someone who has had prime since they launched in 2007 I guess inflation adjusted they are approaching £2000 in money spent.
