Best & Worst Banks Ranked – See Where Your Bank Stands!

- Chase takes the top spot as the UK’s favourite bank
- Monzo slips to second place but still leads in online banking
- RBS ranked worst for customer satisfaction yet again
A new survey has revealed the best and worst banks in the UK, and there’s been a major shake-up at the top. Chase has overtaken Monzo as Britain’s most recommended bank, with 81% of customers saying they’d tell friends and family to sign up.
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) survey asked 23,000 people to rate their banks, covering everything from customer service to mobile banking and overdrafts. Monzo, which previously led the rankings, has now dropped to second place with 80% customer satisfaction, while Starling Bank follows in third.
Meanwhile, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) came last, with just 46% of customers recommending it. Nationwide Building Society, however, was rated the best for branch services, showing that traditional banks still hold value for face-to-face support.
