Black Friday Deals Start NINE Days Early

Some of Britain’s biggest retailers have started their Black Friday deals over a week early, and are planning on running the deals for weeks.

The American holiday savings event has become popular in the UK in recent years, last year an estimated £5.8 BILLION was spent in the four days between Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Latest Deals have taken a look at what retailers are offering before the big day

Amazon

Amazon is one of the most highly anticipated stores for Black Friday, and has started its savings earlier than expected, with it’s own brand products going on sale a day ahead of other brands.

From today, shoppers will be able to get sought after Amazon products, like an Amazon Echo for only £69.99, £20 off it’s original price.

As well as deals on tech products, the sale has extended to Amazon music.

The service, which is usually £7.99 a month, will now only be 99p for the first three months, if customers sign up today.

The offer is both part of Black Friday, as well as to celebrate a year of the service running.

But there’s a catch to Amazon’s early deals- they will only be available until midnight on the 15th, so shoppers will have to get in early to not miss out.

After this, Amazon’s other Black Friday deals will start, such as ‘lightning deals’, where products will be discounted for a limited amount of time, and can happen as often as every 5 minutes.

Amazon Prime members will also get exclusive early access to these deals.

Amazon also released a TV advert to promote their savings event.

The retailer, which normally is only available online, is also launching its first ever pop-up in Soho, London.

This will run over four days, from the 21st until Black Friday on the 24th, and has been described as a “Black friday experience pop-up”.

Argos said, “We are encouraging customers to beat the Black Friday rush and get their hands on brilliant bargains with the launch of 14 days of Black Friday, starting on the 15th November.”

Early deals from the telecoms giant include unlimited data prices plans and unlimited data contracts from just £20 a month, which will be available from the 21st of November.

An exclusive gaming bundle is also on offer. Customers can get a free PS4 console and FIFA 18 game for free when bought with a Sony Xperia XZ handset. The deal is limited to while stocks last.

The discounts will be available for longer than other retailers, as they will last all the way until Monday 4th December.

Littlewoods

Littlewoods has begun its discounts on a range of electrical products, such as TVs, iPhones, and vacuum cleaners.

The online retailer has started its discounts as a taster for what will be to come before their official Black Friday savings.

Their pre-Black Friday offer can be seen in a tab on their webpage, and includes their Black Label buys on electrical products, which are around for a limited time before Black Friday.

Littlewoods is also offering a buy now pay later scheme for Black Friday, which will allow customers to pay for their items 12 months later with interest, of before then with no interest.

Very

Very has also begun their Black Friday offers early, with discounts on thousands of products, and Virgin experience deals, available now.

While the retailer hasn’t unveiled all it’s plans for the event yet, it has put up ‘black label deals’ on selected tech items, and encouraged shoppers to sign up for latest email alerts.

They have also included the characters from their popular Christmas ad, Anna and Ulfie, in their advertising of the campaign. (link to Christmas ad piece).

AO

Online tech retailer, AO, has started discounting products in the run up to Black Friday.

The site has a similar variety of products to Currys PC World, so their launch of early discounts appears to be in competition with the brands early deals.
