Wetherspoons is giving real ale fans a reason to celebrate every Wednesday with a pint priced as low as £1.49. The popular pub chain has introduced “Real Ale Wednesday,” a weekly deal that slashes the price of selected real ales, including well-known options like Sharp’s Doom Bar, Greene King Abbot Ale, and Ruddles. Many pubs also offer regional guest ales, with local breweries featured on a rotating basis every three months.
This deal is available at all Wetherspoons pubs across England, Northern Ireland, and Wales, with most branches offering the £1.49 price for a pint. However, punters are advised to check the price at the bar as some locations may charge up to £3.49. And make sure you ask at the bar to get the offer price.
In Scotland, the deal runs from Monday to Wednesday, with prices starting at £2.49 per pint.
Regulars have expressed their excitement on social media, calling the deal "the gift that keeps on giving." One regular remarked, “It’s hard to believe they can serve great pints for real ale for less than you can buy a bottle at the supermarket.” Another added, “Oh, I’m liking this!”
In addition to the Wednesday deal, Wetherspoons also brought back its Monday Club, offering £1.49 pints of Ruddles or Worthington’s and guest ales from £1.99, making it a great time for ale lovers to visit.
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, says, “This is an excellent deal for beer lovers, especially those who enjoy real ale. Wetherspoons is known for offering great value, and these weekly deals make enjoying a pint even more affordable.
