The budget supermarket is dropping over 30 garden toys from Sunday, May 25 — including a full-on inflatable bouncy castle with a basketball hoop for just £49.99. You read that right: a castle. For under £50. I’ve paid more than that for a dinner out.
From Batman-themed wheelbarrows to LED parasol lights, this is a classic “Middle of Lidl” moment. You walk in for bread, come out with a dartboard shaped like a dog and a remote-control buggy.
Lawnmowers shaped like Superman are priced at £12.99 but drop to £6.99 with Lidl Plus, the supermarket’s free loyalty app. And considering that similar toys go for nearly £30 elsewhere — you’re saving more than 50%.
Laura McGuire reported in The Sun that one near-identical bouncy castle is priced at £199.99 on Robert Days. That’s a whopping £150 saving if you nab Lidl’s version in time.
