Lidl Launching £89.99 Air Fryer to Rival £200 Ninja

- Lidl's Haden 11L Double Stack Air Fryer lands in the middle aisle on February 20.
- Priced at £89.99, it's £110 cheaper than the Ninja Double Stack Air Fryer.
- Features dual shelves and multiple cooking programmes, perfect for family meals.
Lidl is once again proving that you don’t need to spend big to enjoy top-tier kitchen gadgets, with its latest dupe set to hit the middle aisle next week.
As reported by Laura McGuire in The Sun, Lidl’s Haden 11L Double Stack Air Fryer, priced at just £89.99, is almost identical to the popular Ninja Double Stack, which costs £200 at Argos and £229.99 on the Ninja website.
The new budget-friendly air fryer features two shelves for cooking multiple items simultaneously and comes with various programmes to suit all your cooking needs. With air fryers becoming a staple in many UK households for their speed and health benefits, Lidl’s latest offering is sure to fly off the shelves when it arrives on 20th February as part of the retailer’s “Middle of Lidl” specials.
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk the discount code platform said, "Air fryers are a game-changer for saving time and energy in the kitchen. Lidl’s £89.99 dupe is an absolute steal compared to leading brands – but remember, once these middle aisle deals are gone, they’re gone, so act fast!"

Ninja buy their products from Chinese factories one of their dual tray air fryers they charge about 150% more for than when more basic importers import it. They may have requested some spec changes though but Ninja products aren't that reliable no better than the other products from the same factories I would say.
It wouldn't surprise me if this comes from the exact same factory in China as Ninja/Shark buys from.
However on normal dual tray air fryers there are two heating elements at the top. I guess this has the heating element on each level not sure. It feels like a normal dual tray air fryer would be better but this could be better for those who have less worktop space.
I would say the hinged panel is also a failure point, the hinges may get damaged or lose connection with use. It feels like a less robust design looking at it.

It is good to have a review of someone who has actually got one. Heard of Ninja but always put off due to price. Will keep looking. Thanks BonzoBanana

kloddy2001 I don't have a Ninja product but did read an article about how Shark/Ninja operate which is basically slightly re-designing Chinese designs with what they think are improvements or better features. So they still use the Chinese factories that make these ovens and vacuum cleaners but to their specification. Sometimes the products look near identical and sometimes they are cosmetically completely redone.
This is fairly normal. I used to work for a power tool importer and you could see on the certification many different brands and it was the same product inside pretty much but cosmetically restyled on the outside. To consumers they look like different products but its all about perceived quality not actual quality. They don't have to make a better quality product they just have to make you think its a better quality product paying more for.

BonzoBanana Thanks for the information. Really good of you and gratefully appreciated. That's why I'm always so sceptical when things look so good. Cheers
