Lloyds Banking Group has officially launched its new Lloyds Rewards hub, providing customers across Lloyds, Halifax, and Bank of Scotland with access to monthly cash draws and various incentives. The platform, which went live on June 9, 2026, is accessible through both mobile banking apps and online banking portals. This rollout aims to consolidate various customer benefits into a single, accessible location for personal current account holders.
A key highlight of the launch is the Payday Prize Draw, which is scheduled to award £2,026 to 50 randomly selected customers each month. This specific prize figure was established to mark the year of the campaign’s introduction. To qualify for a chance to win, eligible customers must ensure that a minimum of £1,000 is credited to their personal current account every month. This deposit can come from various sources, such as a salary, pension, or state benefits.
As reported in The Mirror, participation in the prize draws is not automatic. Customers are required to manually opt-in or activate the offer every single month to maintain their eligibility. For app users, the options are located under the Rewards section, while online banking users can find the details within the Everyday Offers menu. This manual requirement means customers must stay engaged with the platform to ensure they do not miss out on the monthly windows.
In addition to the monthly cash prizes, the hub features rotating rewards that change periodically. For the month of June 2026, the group is offering a trip to Disneyland Paris. Entry for this specific prize is tied to card activity, with customers earning one entry for every £20 spent using their debit card. There is currently no cap on the number of entries a customer can earn through their spending, allowing frequent shoppers more opportunities to win.
The rewards platform also integrates Cashback Extras, enabling users to secure up to 15% cashback when spending at certain participating retailers. To be eligible for these various rewards, individuals must be UK residents aged 18 or older and hold a personal current account with Lloyds, Halifax, or Bank of Scotland.
To protect against potential fraud, the banking group has specified that winners will be notified via SMS and email. Official emails regarding the draws will be sent from the address PayDayPrizeDraw@lloydsbanking.com. For those with joint accounts, it is important to note that both account holders must individually activate the rewards within their own banking profiles to be entered into the draws.
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, said, "It is important for banking customers to check their apps regularly as these rewards require active monthly participation rather than being automatic."
I am a member of a few banks that do this sort of thing and tbh the chances of winning are pretty low. Think about how many people use Lloyd's bank and then only 50 win per month. If the £1000 monthly deposit has to stay in the bank account then everyone is better off just opening a high interest savings account with another bank that offers a better rate, and putting their wages in there. Obviously they won't get as much in interest but it's still something.
