McDonald’s Is Axing Fan-Favourite Shake

  • The Grimace Shake is leaving McDonald’s menus on February 12 – grab one while you can!
  • The blueberry-flavoured shake first arrived in the UK in 2023 and made a festive return in 2024.
  • A brand-new shake is set to replace it – and it’s a UK first!
  • The Shamrock Shake will launch on March 12, but it’s only available for two weeks.

McDonald’s fans, if you’ve been loving the Grimace Shake, you’ll need to move fast – the limited-edition drink is leaving menus on February 12.

The purple, blueberry-flavoured milkshake, inspired by the classic Grimace mascot, made a comeback for Christmas 2024, but now it’s time for it to disappear once again.

If you want to grab one last taste, you can still pick it up for £2.69 (medium) or £2.99 (large) before it vanishes.

But don’t worry – McDonald’s has something new and exciting lined up. After weeks of speculation, the fast-food giant has confirmed that the Shamrock Shake is coming to the UK for the first time ever!

McDonald’s already offers Strawberry, Banana, and Chocolate as permanent milkshake options, but seasonal specials like these tend to sell out fast. If you want to try the Shamrock Shake, make sure you mark your calendar!

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, said: "McDonald’s limited-edition items always create a buzz, and the Grimace Shake was no exception. But now, with the Shamrock Shake finally arriving in the UK, it’s a great chance for foodies to try something new – if they’re quick enough!"
