McDonald is Giving Away FREE Food Today - Here's How To Get Your Hands On It

- McDonald’s giving away freebies including flatbreads and burgers
- Deal Drop returns with app-only offers from June 30 to July 6
- Customers can also get 10% off £12+ orders – but only through the app
McDonald’s is dishing out free food – but there’s a catch: you’ll need to know where to tap.
The fast food giant is bringing back its Deal Drop offer from 30 June and rolling out not one, not two, but three tempting ways to bag free grub – if you’re quick enough.
Breakfast lovers can get a free Cheesy Bacon Flatbread (normally £2.49) when spending £10 or more between 5am and 11am. Come lunchtime, it’s a free Cheeseburger (usually £1.79) when you splash out £15 or more after 11am. These offers run until 6 July.
On top of that, McDonald’s is knocking 10% off orders over £12 – a rare discount that works in restaurants and on home delivery. Just be aware, delivery comes with extra fees: £1.99+ plus small order and service charges.
But there’s a golden rule — you must order through the My McDonald’s app. It’s free on the App Store or Google Play, and most of these deals are exclusive to app users.
This fresh round of giveaways comes as McDonald’s reboots its menu once again. Out go the McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot and the fan-favourite Chicken Bacon Caesar Wrap. In comes the Big Arch Burger (£7.99), Cheesy McCrispy, Halloumi Fries, and a Toffee Crisp McFlurry.
Some customers were gutted to see items vanish, but the freebies might soften the blow — if you know where to look. Be aware that not all restaurants are participating in the offer.
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, the discount code platform said, "Free food is always a win if you’re savvy enough to claim it. The trick is downloading the app and checking it daily. It’s how I grab deals on the go – especially useful if you’ve got a hungry family in tow."
