McDonald's Monopoly 2023 Has Officially Started - 3 Tips To Win Big

Image

It's official, McDonald's Monopoly 2023 has officially started and this year it's running until 17th October, so you've got just under 6 weeks to get collecting!

McDonald's Monopoly gives customers the chance to win instant prizes by collecting game items. You'll get these by buying menu items including burgers, fries, sides and drinks.

Just buy your food, peel the Monopoly sticker on the packaging and reveal a property or instant win prize.

You then can bank your property in the My McDonald's app to collect sets and win prizes. This year you'll also get an extra peel in the app. Every property you bank gives you another chance to win prizes.

Prizes this year include £100,000 cash, an electric MINI car, a £2,000 TUI holiday and more. The best prizes are won by collecting property, but you can also get instant win prizes which are nothing to sniff at. You can see which prizes are on offer HERE.

Tom Church, co-founder of money saving community LatestDeals.co.uk shared his top 3 tips to win big on McDonald's Monopoly.

  1. Check Which Items Give You The Most Pieces

"On qualifying menu items you'll get at least one Monopoly piece. However, some menu items - particularly less popular ones - may have two or three pieces. This gives you a better chance of winning instant prizes, and allows you to collect more property.

"The number of stickers on items hasn't been released yet, but last year the way to get 3 stickers on products was by choosing chicken selects, sides including salads and mozarella sticks, iced coffees and so on. Keep an eye out for multiple stickers on this year's qualifying items to double or triple your chances of winning".

  1. Join Facebook Groups

"McDonald's Monopoly proves to be very popular with customers every year, so much so that there are dedicated Facebook groups where people offer tips, share which rare property they've bagged, and even swap with each other to complete sets. It's well worth investigating if you're going to play to win this year.

  1. Keep An Eye Out For Unclaimed Stickers

"Not everyone takes part in McDonald's Monopoly, so if you're eating in a restaurant it's worth keeping an eye out for untouched stickers left on tables. If people have left it's worth unpeeling and claiming their stickers, as otherwise they'll just go to waste.

"Again, it's all about maximising your chances of winning, and the more stickers you unpeel, the more chance of an instant win, or of completing a set and getting one of the big prizes".
