Viral Pistachio Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Finally Land in UK From Australia

- Krispy Kreme’s viral Pistachio Overload doughnut finally arrives in the UK
- Brits begged for the Australian fan-favourite to hit shelves
- Made with Manchester’s Blackmilk Pistachio Cream
- Available in stores for a limited time only
- Tesco rollout begins 19 May – but only until 25 May
Krispy Kreme has whipped up a nutty storm by finally unleashing its most-wanted doughnut in the UK — and fans are going wild.
The American doughnut giant has bowed to public pressure and released the much-hyped Pistachio Overload — a sweet treat that first sent snackers into meltdown Down Under.
The cult classic caused such a stir on social media when it launched in Australia last month, Brits were soon begging for a bite. And now, after weeks of teasing, the pistachio-packed pastry has landed — sending doughnut lovers into a frenzy.
As Shannon Power reported in The Sun, the green delight officially hit Krispy Kreme counters nationwide on Monday, May 12, with a surprise soft launch in Manchester a day earlier. That’s no coincidence — it was co-created with local legends Blackmilk, famous for their pistachio cream spread.
The eye-popping £3.49 treat features Krispy Kreme’s own pistachio cream filling, a swirl of white chocolate, and a topping of candied pistachio nibs. But the star of the show? Blackmilk’s signature spread slathered on top.
Sweet-toothed Brits will need to move fast. The Pistachio Overload will only be on sale in UK and Ireland shops until May 25. It’ll also roll out in Tesco stores from May 19 to May 25 — a limited-time window that’s already sparking panic buying online.
Fans of the brand may recall Krispy Kreme’s cheeky April Fools' stunt where it joked about binning off the original glazed to make room for new flavours. But the return of Glazed Raspberry — resurrected via a public vote — proved just how much power hungry punters really have.
Now, as pistachio takes its turn in the spotlight, shoppers are showing there’s no stopping the snack-savvy masses when it comes to demanding dessert justice.
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk the discount code platform said, "People in the UK are more vocal than ever about the flavours they want. And with social media, brands have to respond quickly or risk missing the hype. Limited edition products like this give shoppers a real sense of urgency — and that’s what drives queues and clicks."

Saw this the other day online and am desperate to try it, not seen it in my local supermarkets as of yet so might have to take a trip to an actual Krispy Kreme store.
