Aldi is set to extend their already sparkling alcohol infused range to include the Specially Selected Prosecco Infused British Chicken, on sale Thursday 14th December at £4.99.

Discount supermarket Aldi is bringing extra sparkle to the Christmas table with its Specially Selected Prosecco Infused British Chicken for just £4.99.

Available in store from Thursday 14th December, this whole British chicken is basted with a Prosecco marinade, topped with a wine and mushroom seasoning and sparkling edible gold, making it seasonally festive.

And to leave time for the designated cook to relax with a chilled drink, Aldi’s Specially Selected Prosecco Infused Chicken roasts in the bag locking in all the juices and flavour to create a seasoned roast chicken that's incredibly tender, succulent and full of rich flavour.

Julie Ashfield, Joint Managing Director of Corporate Buying at Aldi UK, says:

“Aldi is never one to miss a trend which is why we created the Specially Selected Prosecco Infused British Chicken with Gold Shimmer. This fun and festive product is another example of amazing quality at Aldi’s everyday low prices.”

Aldi’s Specially Selected Prosecco Infused British Chicken follows the success of other products in the Christmas seasonal range that have also been infused with prosecco. These include:

  • Specially Selected Outdoor Bred British Pork Cocktail Sausages with Prosecco, Cranberry and Orange (£1.99)
  • Specially Selected Exquisite Prosecco and Peach Panettone (£6.99)
  • Specially Selected Honeycomb with Prosecco Sugar (£2.49)

Pick up your prosecco chicken in store from Thursday 14th December – but hurry, as with all Specialbuys once it’s gone, it’s gone!

For one, I no longer drink and do you really need to ask me that?

Will it be Budweiser Chicken? No thanks 😣

I honestly can't see people buying or liking such a chicken 😉
