Topshop Sparks Frenzy With Cryptic Clue About High Street Comeback

Image
  • Iconic fashion brand Topshop has teased a possible return to physical stores
  • The retailer shared three mysterious videos with the caption: “We've missed you”
  • Fans are going wild, with one saying: “This is actually going to make my year”
  • ASOS sold a 75% stake in Topshop to Danish retailer Bestseller last year

Shoppers are losing their minds after Topshop dropped a huge hint that it could be making a high street comeback after more than four years away.

The brand shared three teaser videos on Instagram, simply captioned:

"We've missed you."

As reported by James Flanders in The Mirror, this follows a previous cryptic post saying "Watch this space."

Excited fans are convinced this means Topshop stores could be returning, with comments flooding in:

  • "Mother of GOD. This is actually going to make my year."
  • "This has to happen."
  • "Absolutely buzzing."

What’s Behind the Rumoured Comeback?

The speculation follows big changes at Topshop, including:

✅ New leadership – Michelle Wilson was appointed managing director in February

✅ Ownership shake-up – ASOS sold its 75% stake in Topshop to Danish retail giant Bestseller (owners of Jack & Jones, Vero Moda, and Only)

The last time Topshop had physical stores was back in 2020, before Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia Group collapsed, forcing many of its brands – including Miss Selfridge and Dorothy Perkins – to go online.

While there’s still no official confirmation, these teasers suggest something big is coming. Could we finally see Topshop back on the high street?

"High street fashion has taken a hit in recent years, but Topshop returning to physical stores could be a game-changer. Shoppers clearly miss it – and if Bestseller has plans to bring it back, it could spark a major retail revival," said Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but a physical store will not work because a shop costs money to operate, and it will soon collapse again like the other resurrected shops.
