Choc lovers, brace yourselves. A mouth-watering mash-up is making a comeback – but blink and you'll miss it.
Cadbury has announced the arrival of a brand-new, limited-edition chocolate bar that’s already causing a stir online. Dubbed the Twirl White Dipped, this new creation takes the iconic, flaky chocolate bar and drenches it in dreamy white chocolate.
The sweet news dropped on social media, with Cadbury boasting: “OK but we’ve really outdone ourselves with this one.” Described as “unreal, indulgent, smooth, swirly, creamy, melty, new, and mouthwatering”, fans were quick to swoon – with many likening it to the now-discontinued Flake Snowflake.
The hype has triggered serious nostalgia. If you're a chocolate hunter like me, you’ll remember the Flake Snowflake as a white choc icon, unjustly axed in the 2000s. Some fans even spotted an early version of Twirl White years ago, but this is the first time we’ve seen it dipped and delivered like this.
But – and there’s always a catch – it’s only here for a limited time. Cadbury has kept details under wraps, only revealing that the Twirl White Dipped will be “coming soon”.
In other words, expect it to melt off shelves in a flash.
The Twirl itself has a cult following. Launched in Ireland in 1985 and hitting UK shelves two years later, its double-finger flaky format is a Christmas Heroes tin regular. We’ve seen orange and mint twists before… but this white chocolate coating might just top them all.
Speaking as someone who’s always on the lookout for dupe-worthy desserts and bargain buys, I’ll be hunting this down with my son, Little Deals, the moment it hits the shops.
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk the discount code platform said, “Limited-edition products from big brands often whip up demand by playing to our nostalgia. The white chocolate twist adds novelty, and if you spot one in-store, grab it – they’re likely to become collector’s items.”
