McDonalds To Launch Five New Menu Items Inc All New Burger

Image
  • A brand new burger with a twist is landing in days
  • Fan favourites like the Cheesy McCrispy and Halloumi Fries return – but at higher prices
  • Four popular items face the chop to make room
  • Some treats now cost 70p more than last time

Maccie’s is shaking things up again – and it’s big. The fast food giant is giving its menu a major summer overhaul starting June 18th, with five fresh arrivals – including an all-new burger dubbed The Big Arch, and the comeback of a few cult classics.

Forget the Big Mac – this one’s a serious contender. The Big Arch comes dripping in a brand-new sauce and will set you back £7.99, or £9.99 if you go large.

Also making their triumphant return are the Cheesy McCrispy, the Toffee Crisp McFlurry, and the Toffee Apple Pie – though prices have crept up since their last appearance. The Cheesy McCrispy alone has jumped 70p since January.

But the biggest crowd-pleaser might be the Halloumi Fries, back on the menu for the first time since last summer. At £2.99 for four or £7.59 for a sharebox, they're served with a sweet chilli dip and sell out fast.

Meanwhile, the Katsu Wraps – which launched in January – have been spared the axe and will stay on the menu. Shoppers can snag them for as little as £2.29 on certain days via the app.

But while new favourites land, others are quietly vanishing. From June 17th, the Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers, Lotus Biscoff McFlurry, Steakhouse Stack, and the McSpicy® x Frank’s RedHot will disappear. One popular item, the Chicken Bacon Caesar Wrap, has already been binned – sparking fury from fans.

Prices vary by location, but early signs show most items are pricier than before. For example, the Toffee Apple Pie, once £1.99, now goes for £2.09. Just like everything else, it seems even your Maccie’s fix isn’t immune to inflation.

Shoppers hoping to save can still get deals via the McDonald's receipt survey trick, which unlocks a Big Mac and fries for £2.99 – or through offers on the My McDonald’s app.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk the discount code platform said, "With the cost of living still putting pressure on families, it’s great to see McDonald’s bringing back crowd favourites. But shoppers should watch out for sneaky price rises and always check the app for midweek deals."
