If you shop at Hillier more than once or twice a season, the Gardening Club is the simplest way to save without digging around for a discount code every time. It’s free to join, and you get 5 points for every £1 spent in Garden Centres and Restaurants.
Members get a few extra perks as well:
- vouchers twice a year, converted from your points, to use in centre or online
- exclusive member offers, often on specific product ranges
- competitions, priority event booking, digital magazines and email offers

It’s also worth knowing that Hillier usually won’t let you combine offers unless the terms say you can. So if you’ve got more than one deal available, pick the one that gives you the biggest saving.

Before we bother with a Hillier discount code, we head straight to the Offers section and build the basket around what’s already reduced. That’s usually where the easiest savings are.
You’ll often find deals like:

Furniture and BBQ delivery is the bit that catches people out. It’s £14.99, and it only becomes free over £100 in selected postcode areas. Outside those areas, extra charges can apply, and delivery may be palletised kerbside.
We always do a postcode check before getting too attached to a garden set or egg chair. Slightly tedious, but better than finding a surprise fee at checkout.
Try gift cards
If you’re buying for someone else, or splitting the cost of a bigger family present, Hillier gift cards are useful. Delivery is free, and they’re usually dispatched within 2 working days.
We like this option when we’re not completely sure which plant, size or style someone would want. It cuts down on guesswork and avoids paying extra just to send a card.
Know the return rules
This isn’t a Hillier voucher tip exactly, but it can save you money all the same. If you cancel after despatch, you’ve got 14 days from receiving the goods, or 14 days after the final delivery if the order arrives in parts.
