Founded in 1895 in Austria by Daniel Swarovski, Swarovski UK is home to timeless crystal glass jewellery and homewares. Daniel's vision was to "create a diamond for everyone" and his invention of a specialised electric crystal-cutting machine heralded a new era for crystal. Soon, crystal beads were swinging off dresses and reflecting the hedonism, glamour, and excitement of the 1920s. The very first Swarovski UK boutique opened in the 1980s and saw the world become obsessed with both the jewellery and figurines. The annual limited-edition Christmas ornament also soon became the must-have home accessory.
