  • I go to Co-Op most days as it's at the top of my street. The prices were quite high for a long time but just recently they have become more reasonable. Their bakery section is the best especially their sausage rolls and bread rolls. I also love their toastie bread and they do really good family friendly meal deals for £5. My frustrating experience is that they recently have new receipt rolls and it takes forever to print receipts to the point that they rarely give them out unless you ask in advance which is annoying as I use the receipt apps like receipt hog and shoppix. Never had a bad experience with customer service either, plus you can get good deals from discount codes you can find on sites like Latest Deals. MrsOaf
  • I live sandwiched between the Co-Op and another convenience type store. I always used to find the Co-Op to be more expensive than it was worth and would shop at the other local convenience store. However Co-Op are really striving to appeal to everyone, understanding that people have different financial needs and since releasing their £5 frozen meal deal (which can feed me for a whole week) I do shop there more often. And you can even save money from online voucher codes. emsterific
  • I like Co-Op, although all my closest stores have recently been closed down. They are relatively expensive for a general food shop, but great for top-up shops and yellow labels! Perfect if you need to stock up on bread, especially when you go in the evenings. I find they usually do some good deals on their own branded products and you regularly get voucher codes online or when you use their card and. Overall I think it's is a good store I just wouldn't choose to go there for main food shops as I feel the prices are a little unjustified. Mashleigh
  • I like shopping at Co-Op Food as they have a good rewards scheme, great deals from online discount codes and I used to get student discount which none of the other food shops do. We have two stores nearby and the larger store has a lot of choice so you can get a range of meals. The fruit and veg stays fresh for ages and they do good yellow sticker reductions so you can sometimes get a weeks shopping for £10. Really good local food shop. Freebiesarefun
  • I love Co-Op. As it’s my local supermarket I shop here daily. The Co-Op points card and online voucher codes are fantastic and saves a lot from your budget. Every time you shop you get money added to your card that you can spend like cash against any purchases. Last year we bought all our Christmas shop including alcohol for nothing. Also if you buy Co-Op branded products you get a higher percentage back. I also have a student card that I got through tips on latest deals and this entitles me to 10% off my shop every time I shop. This even works on short date reductions and multi buys making Co-Op very preferable price wise. I always get some great end of day reductions on fresh produce and always have a full freezer. Simply put I’d rather not shop elsewhere if I don’t have to. I love it! LaurenScarlett
  • My local Co-Op is small so I cannot do a full food shop there, but they do have some good deals (unfortunately not the meal deals that I see posted on Latest Deals) and you can save from online voucher codes. You do have to be careful as some prices are high and their prices do not appear on My Supermarket. The staff are always pleasant and helpful but there is often a wait to be served. The reward card system is good and I think the Co-Op is in general more ethical than other shops. My son lives very near a larger Co-Op and gets great end-of-day reductions. Grannyclock
  • I like Co-Op and have noticed their prices coming down a bit recently! They have some nice quality stuff and their stores are largely well set out and easy to find things. I've also been able to pick up some good yellow stickers on occasion and great deals from online discount codes which is always a bonus! Their £5 meal deal is good, but often a bit beige and quite samey. I know many of my friends have NUS cards so get their discount, and the membership scheme is certainly among my favourites. em221
  • I feel quite honored to live in the town where Co-Op was started. There isn't a Co-Op near me but it's at the other side of town. Ironically at the well to do side of town. I only visit occasionally when up that way. I do find that some of the Co-Op prices are fairly high. I do like their £5 meal deals but the frozen one can get a bit samey. They need to mix things up a bit. Never actually had the fresh one. I couldn't afford to do a big shop there but if in the area and need little bits then I guess it's OK. Always check for voucher codes online if you want to get fantastic deals on your purchases. funwithlisa
  • The Co-Op can be expensive at times when It comes to shopping for certain things, but they do great Orange sticker deals , there is normally a section in store dedicated to bargains I've had a few good deals, I like using my Co op member shop card in store as the points soon add up and you sometimes get coupons for money off once i had one for a free cake and you can always find voucher codes online which saves you money on your shopping. Produce is generally gold quality, but sometimes there fresh food and veg isn't the best. MrsB66
  • Just had a Co-Op local open up near me and have to say it’s quite a handy, new store. It's very tidy and clean and their sales staff are very pleasant. Good range of products for a local and will certainly be using in the future. Not sure when they reduce items but always keeping my eye open for a few reduced goodies and discount goods at Latest Deals. sarahtwinmom
  • I just to absolutely love the Co-Op. One of my top shops for food shopping and could always pick up a fair few deals and bargains. Their stores are still good, very well stocked and great friendly helpful staff and the store is always immaculate, their prices have just gotten a little to high for a full weekly shop so it's always a good idea to look for voucher codes online if you want to get good deals and discounts. But I do like to pop in now and then to see what bargains and offers they are running. SRFMLY

Love this shop but they are getting very scarce which is such a shame. Love holidays in Scotland in the highlands as they are quite a few of them and it feels like home going into these. The products are very fresh and you can get some really good deals.

1 of my favourite bargains has to be the 5 for £5 offer when it runs . To be able to feed a family of 5 for brand name products meal for £5 is pretty impressive and the products are always good value for what your paying . Moving away from the 5 for £5 offer the products available at the Co-op food store are not only wide ranging but also good value for money .

Co-op sells a huge variety of products, from food produce to cards and gifts to electronics. Their products are mostly of very high quality and price and their staff are polite and happy to help. They often have good sales on items and vouchers available to help customers cut down the prices of their shops.
