Gousto’s customer service is fabulous, there was something missing from my delivery box and they gave me credit for it off my next box. You get the odd freebie of new things to try, and it’s fantastic for trying new recipes and not worrying you haven’t got everything in. However I personally found it a bit expensive (but no more so than any other service of this ilk) and it does work out better value if you like fish/seafood dishes, which I’m not a massive fan of. But I definitely recommend everyone to give it a try, even if just for a week!

Gousto are an amazing meal-box subscription service. Their prices are fantastic, as I would 100% pay more in the supermarket for the items, and would end up with a lot of waste and left-over food going into the bin, too. The merals are nutritious, and there's always plenty to go round. I'm never hungry after i've had a Gousto meal. Their delivery is either through Yodel (Mon-Sat) or DPD (Sun & BH Mon) and I've never had any issues with my deliveries. I've had the odd item that's not been great (leafy greens that were starting to go slightly yellow) yet that's going to happen from time to time, with fresh produce. I just used Gousto's website to fill out a form, and explain what I wasn't happy with in the order, and my account was credited instantly, with money off my next box. Their referal scheme is excellent, too. I highly recommend using Gousto. It's the best food box I've ever come across, and I use it ALL the time, including at Christmas - I had their Christimas Dinner, and it was perfect!! Gousto wins!

Servings per person are generous and have lots of flavours. Some of the cooking times need changing as a person who normally doesn't cook would struggle to get the meals done in the times they say. On one occasion I had some chicken arrive and the packaging was not sealed on arrival, Goustos automatic system offered a £7 credit, I didn't even need to speak to a robot, or hold the line for ages. Just used their website and said an issue with the box. It was so easy to solve. Some recipes have an extra charge per person, such as steak. I think it is understandable for this but I haven't tried a steak recipe yet to be able to judge the quality. I think it is only worthwhile if ordering a box for 4 meals. Each portion costs less the more meals you have. I like the use of their online cookbook. I always refer there first and then pick meals that are not available via the cookbook as it is free to access. Often they will do exclusive meals such as Joe Wicks or recently their Wild Buns. These meals you pay extra per person for, but are limited edition and are not in the cookbook! I did a couple of their wild buns which were nice. I particularly chose the marmite chicken burger which my household was not keen on the thought of. Pretended I didn't use the marmite, and no one could tell there was marmite in it. The taste was really lovely and not as intense and it is a favourite in the house now. Try meals you do not think you would normally choose as you will be pleasantly surprised.

Saved on going to shops as everything needed was in the box. I had a discount offer but I still bought at full price after the discount ran out. It’s good that you can pause deliveries if you don’t want them every week or month. Delivery was good and on time.

Good packages, it does get a little expensive tho if your buying them 3 times a week but it is much better than hello fresh, who I used before switching to gousto, who have a good range of choices for both meat eaters and veggies, not very sure about vegan options to be comply honest.

I love gusto recipes the flavors are unreal, been having them for almost a year. simple to do when limited to time. customer service is really outstanding had a few issues with bits missing but this is sorted very quickly. have used discount in the past but they dont tend to offer discount for regular customers, although I did get a nice bar of chocolate once.

Food is great. However the life of especially the chicken is very short. The prices, when not got a promo code, can be expensive. So I tend to only get it when I have a promo code. But generally a great company and great way to try different foods from all over the world

I have used Gousti a few times and I have to say that I love the concept and idea and I am able to make amazing food at home with much less hassle. I like being able to chose form the menus also. My only down point it I think the price point is pretty high. Its very good good your a new customer as they they have 50% or many other discounts. So I think its certinaly worth a try as you may find you love it. Overall, in terms of product quality and user friendleness of the website, I rate it a 10/10. My only down point it the price point.

Good experience delivered when it should have been. Ingredients were very fresh and recipes were easy enough to follow. I used a discount code for mine so got 3 meals for 4 people for 18 pounds, can be expensive without the discounts though. I particularly liked that everything was measured out for you so you didn't really have any prep work to do which saved alot of time.

The dishes were easy to make with clear instructions.... Delivery was on time but sometimes just left outside (in the sun!) The fresh goods were short dated and some vegetables were often bendy or old! Some of the meat did not smell fresh so i had to buy replacements. I signed up for a 4 month deal and decided i would not use them again. I emailed customer service to detail my concerns but never heard back.

The cost of the meals work out about the same when you buy each ingredient from a supermarket, but this way there is no wastage. The meals are great, tasty, pretty to look at and have opened up our family to eating more diverse foods, herbs and spices. We enjoy following the clear instructions and creating meals worthy of restaurant prices. We have been ordering from Gousto for 9 months and have also tried another well known company who worked out more expensive and had lots of errors in their deliveries. We look forward to our weekly delivery of new recipes that we have chosen from their vast online catalogue that changes each week. Some favourites are available each week. Meals have suited low calorie, vegetarians and vegans too. The quality of the ingredients they send is great too. We have passed on their discount codes to friends to try them out and they now also order from Gousto weekly. Our only issue is we cannot add to an existing box, so when we have guests coming and we have already confirmed our recipe choices we then have to order another box for delivery the day before our usual delivery, it seems odd that we can't double up but we have found a way around this issue which is minor and rare.

They are great when they get it right, lots of choice and love the great quality wooden spoon you get in your first box. You can only have boxes for 2 or 4 people but not 3 people as our girls would eat one meal between two as they are quite large portions. Not the cheapest but meat is really good quality

Its convenient but expensive compared to buying products yourself. A lot of packaging for small amounts of spices etc. I only used as a trial and can't justify otherwise. The portion sizes are also quite small - especially if you have a 6ft3 adult male, we had to add meat etc anyway.

missed lots of the ingredients and when I called them to complain they gave me very bad service and just closed my account, the meals that we had were not edible and we ended up throwing it away, absolute waste of my money I would not buy from them again
