Jo Malone stores are well laid out, and enticing to the passing customer.
However, on the two occasions I have ventured into one of the shops the sales assistants have been fairly pushy and persistent, even after being told I was just browsing.
Sometimes as customers all we want is to have a nice look around without the constant hard sell. I was always going to purchase an item anyway, but the consistent badgering becomes tiring fairly quickly.
Sadly, it has got to the stage now that I use the website rather than the physical shop, just to avoid being harried and hectored. This means, in the long run it will cost the company, as I am not able to browse, sniff and sample any new products.
