  • I have mixed feelings about Sky. I love the TV package, which mixed with my Netflix and amazon prime means I’m never short of something to watch. I do think their pricing is ridiculously high though, but you can always search for discount codes online for some savings. As for their broadband, we had months of little to no internet and the whole family was using my phone contract as a hotspot, after calling sky to arrange to leave them, they offered us a slightly better deal and agreed to fix our internet problems. We then waited weeks for an engineer who set everything up and the internet still didn’t work, it turned out the original person we spoke to on the phone had ordered the wrong items. Now, I understand these things happen but it did mean even more time without internet while we waited again for it to be corrected. Fingers crossed since that was all sorted, we haven’t had any really problems. Yesterday I received a text that said there was an outage in the area and apologised for any issues, then received another stating they were attempting to fix the issue and another later on saying the problem was fixed. I was at work so any outages had no effect on me but I thought it was great that they kept me up to date. The one thing that really does irritate me is if you do have a problem, you have to solve it yourself using their online help guide, I know very little about wiring etc and sometimes you just need an engineer to come out. Overall, I do like Sky, I’ve been with them so many years I dread to think about leaving them and going elsewhere, purely because I’m addicted to TV and would miss Sky only channels. emsterific
  • I used to have Sky broadband for a year as I got a very cheap sign up deal for the year. It was quite a fast speed but there were quite a lot of days where the connection just dropped randomly and I had to ring up customer services and go through a long winded process each time for them to get it turned back on. For this reason I switched away from them when I moved house and I haven't been tempted to move back even with plenty of available special voucher code offers online . Freebiesarefun
  • We have been a customer with sky for many years. I did leave and come back as the service, channels and customer service is the best. They have a large selection of channels for everyone. The service does cost the most but you pay for what you get and if you want discounts there's always something available online from voucher codes. We have on occasion bought films to watch as we don’t subscribe to the movie channels unless it’s over Christmas. I have also found the interactive service very good where we can check our bill. • We won't have Sky even if there are good deals from discount codes online because its owned by Rupert Murdoch. My wife is political and dislikes him. Any way we had no experience of it until last year. My elderly mother in law wanted it. I think we secured a good deal with them. It was for a basic package without broadband. The installation was quick. They didn't make any mess. Polite and happy to give advice. Around Christmas time their was a problem with the signal. They offered us an appt after the holiday period. Not happy we informed them that she is elderly and it was her only company. They came out a day later which I was impressed with. The deal she has at the moment is for 18 months when it will be up for renewal. Therefore I will have to report back then regarding any further saving or look for voucher codes. Mrmac

We have been sky TV for years. It's great for movies sky cinema is a great channel and sky store has movies latest releases from the Cinema Great to watch without leaving the comfort of your own home. We have sky sports mainly for the excellent football matches they show as well as rugby and countless other sports. The varied number of other channels covers drama to arts countless subjects covered in an entertaining way. The cost of all these channels isn't cheap but what is now a days. The sky equipment is supplied to the viewer at a reasonable cost and you can also.have sky in all of bedrooms in your home by subscription if required. You can even watch Sky without a dish now and stream it by a product called SkyGlass Which is a extremely hi Tec TV. You can use sky to watch apps of Netflix,Apple etc. I would recommend.

This review is for Sky Mobile. This was not given as an,option to review my mobile network provider. Switch was handled quickly and professionally. I had a question regarding data allowance and was answered quickly and gave me the answer to the problem. Coverage is great indoor and outdoors, and the 5g speeds are great, even though its not available where I live, I connected to a 5g network when travelling. I would recommend Sky Mobile and rolling over unused data is a great idea, something other networks could easily do. 5* from me for performance and customer service.

Sky as a service is great, however as the market gets more competitive the deals being offered by sky are falling way behind. The costs are much higher than all other services, even as a loyal customer I have decided to leave them. As stated, the service / product is great but very expensive.

They only offer great prices to the new customers once tbey have you your trapped a d the deals they offer are extortionate which is do annoying. Loyalty on it rewarded and customer service isn't always the best which is another down side so I would not recommend at all

Had sky mobile since the day it started and never had a bad thing to say about them. Always good signal wherever I am, bills consistent and phone selection on the swap 24 always the cheapest out there. Wouldnt go with anyone else. Always happy to help when I call, and good rebate on old handsets. Also a bonus that your unused data rolls over.

Fantastic service from Sky mobile, website very responsive, FAQ have all the answers. Prices were very competitive with other companies. I did 2 swaps on my account, 1st phone arrived 24hrs later 2nd phone 48hrs. Very fast and smooth, no issues. We only have the phones from Sky, everything is elsewhere. I normally like to call and look around to compare each make and model.

What a lot of people don't realise is if any data is not used it gets passed onto the the next. I think they will do this for up 24 months maybe more. I have had not had any issues and signal is very good. Customer service has been very good also

really good reception in the south west, went to scottish borders and had great signal also, my son had 3 and sky mobile out performed 3 on signal and 4 g. just upgraded on black friday deals and got an amazing deal plus the data gets rolled over so when the kids run out of data as they always do , I got a bank to give instead of buying more data

Great and competitive deals if you can signal in your own home, otherwise pointless. Totally rely on my WiFi to make WiFi phone calls and constantly use WhatsApp due to it being WiFi as I cannot get texts or normal phone calls unless I walk outside or hang out the window to get signal.

They helped us change broadband over this difficult period and was done so well I was shocked. They didnt need to come in the house which was good and switched over so quickly and with little fuss and we got a good deal. Sky is expensive but when you get a deal it makes it much more managable.

I have been a sky customer for around 14 years now and I have always rated them but since having the sky q box it is not anywhere near as good as the older boxes I am forever having to rest the box as it looses its connection or will play recorded programmes but not live tv programmes which is very annoying when you wanting to watch something also messes around with putting Netflix or YouTube on

I really don't understand how they can charge the prices they do when they offer them so much cheaper through the now box. Not great customer service. I had to cancel my sky due to a neighbours tree blocking the signal which I can't get removed. Every month for 6 months they rang asking if I'd re-open my account. It took the threat of complaint to get them to stop ringing.

I switched to Sky Broadband and all I had was trouble with the WiFi dropping continuously throughout the day. Was onto Sky for over 6 months asking them to sort it out, but they said that there was no problem. Now, I had no problems whatsoever before I switched. Fortunately, they wanted to increase the cost mid-contract, which gave me a reason to leave them penalty free. I switched to another ISP immediately and have had zero problems since. I would not recommend Sky broadband to anyone.
