  • You can get quite a few freebies from Thorntons, on the O2 priority app, voucher codes from Latest Deals and also I think on Wuntu. Also when you visit the store they are usually handing out free samples which are delicious. I like the fact that they personalise pretty much any piece of chocolate that is plain so you can get good personalised gifts. Also the ice cream in the summer is nice. Staff are friendly and helpful and they change their chocolate choices seasonally. It's a great chocolate shop. Freebiesarefun
  • Thorntons is a lovely Chocolate shop I shop in from time to time, It is very nice when they hand out samples of Chocolates especially the smiles!, I love to have the odd ice cream from time to time, They taste lush, last year I used a offer for buy one scoop get one free that was a great deal, I also used the vouchers codes app and got a free alpini bar. I don't really make many purchases in store as I do tend to find it rather expensive, you can get cheaper in supermarkets, but if I'm looking for an occasion I may make an exception and buy something from the store where they ice and rap things up nicely for you. • I used to love buying from Thornton's because of their diabetic chocolate section. However, they apparently no longer do the range. This is disappointing as I find their chocolate is nothing special otherwise. They always seem to have friendly, helpful staff and a good sale every now and then, plus you can get freebies and discounts from online voucher codes. But I don't feel like their chocolate is worth its regular full price. I rarely even buy it at discount, because it's just average chocolate. If you are looking for some new flavours to use for cooking, however, I do recommend their bars which are in a variety of flavours and have a multi buy discount. Angemala
  • I have visited Thorntons a few times and used the voucher codes from the O2 promotions and those from Latest Deals. they have a lovely selection of chocolates and I love that they can make a lot of personalised chocolate gifts for many occasions like birthdays, valentines, Christmas, Easter, anniversaries and just maybe those times when you want to show someone how much you love them. I find some of the chocolate to be a bit rich for my taste but my husband on the other hand loves it so it just depends on your preferences. There are always some sort of promotion going on which is a nice incentive to visit a store and see what they have. I think their prices are reasonable for what it is and would recommend them. zararoberts86
  • I tend to go to Thorntons when I can collect my O2 Priority chocolates but don't tend to visit at any other time. I think the chocolates are quite expensive and M&S do similar chocolates at a better price. I do however like the personalised chocolates especially at Easter for the kids as my boys have names that you don't see around in the shops so nice to be able to personalise on a special occasion. I also love the freebies you can get from discount codes online. sarahtwinmom
  • I absolutely love Thorntons shops. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough to help. I was in getting personalised Easter eggs and had my niece and nephews with me. I misspelled a name and when I realised the girl just got a fresh egg and done it again without me even asking she was just lovely and other staff members gave the kids some of the samples they had out so that kept them entertained too and the shop was busy too so they didn't have to do that but was very much appreciated. I love going in at Christmas time, their shops are always so festive, I love their personalised advent calendars and the chocolate figures. They have some amazing sales after Easter etc too where you can pick up plenty of bargains. Make sure to check for voucher codes at Latest Deals to further your savings. One of my top stores. SRFMLY
  • Thornton's is very handy, especially as a little something extra for a loved one (for all occasions). Every visit I've had has been friendly and chatty by the staff. I'm also able to try a few, delicious! Last purchase I was able to get a box of chocolates half prize (first box was full price). You can also get mouthwatering deals from voucher codes you can get online. They also offer gift wrapping too which I love! ScotsChick
  • Thorntons is a great shop, you can get some really lovely gifts for any special occasion. The staff are always really friendly, they suggest deals if you are unsure, they quite often have something to sample too. The thing that always stands out to me though is when you use the O2 app they are just as happy to personalise a free item as they are if you were paying for it, plus you can always find discount codes online if you want to save money. They never seem to be put to any trouble. They are always upbeat and chirpy & it is just a nice shop to go in. SandyRhodes
