I have purchased from TJC numerous times over the past few years and I've only had one orders which contained an incorrect item (I couldn't be bothered to sort it out as it was only a £1 auction purchase!). There are plenty of good buys in the main sections of the store but it's best to buy during a sale (they're quite frequent but discounts vary) and not to pay full price unless you've done some research and can't find the item cheaper elsewhere. The best bargains need a bit of research first; find the item you'd like in any part of the store *except* the auction, make a note of the main description, features and price. Next, go to the £1 auctions; search for a similar item using keywords and then filters, the best chance of getting a bargain will be on items that have a finish time in the early hours of the morning UK time- you'll need to either stay up or set an alarm because you can no longer set an automated maximum bid. Make sure you don't pay more than the price for the item you researched! Also, if you're buying a ring make sure you know what size you need and what size you're buying- you can use the search filter to search by size as well as other filter options. Items arrive within a reasonable time, some will just be in cellophane bags, more valuable items will come with a velvet pouch or gift box. Always try rings and necklaces on before removing the tags. Bear in mind that the sizing of clothes might not be exactly what you're used to: I tend to stick to only buying clothing items that are "free size" such as capes, kaftans (my mum loves them) etc in the £1 auctions where they're much cheaper and you'll see the same item come up several times a day so you have a better chance of getting a bargain. Delivery is usually by Royal Mail tracked so you should receive a message from Royal Mail on the morning of the delivery day giving a time window for delivery. TJC does have a refer a friend scheme but it's probably against the rules for me to put my referral details here, sorry! Remember, auctions can be fun but set a budget and don't overpay, it's so much more satisfying getting a bargain! ;-)
