Flight from Birmingham to Madeira 2 hours late taking off. Then when we entered Madeira air space , Diverted Madeira flight to Tenerife because pilot couldn’t land due to fog. However all the other airlines were landing. Should have landed in Madeira at 18:30 hours ended up getting to a 3* family hotel in Tenerife at 0100 hours. No food available as kitchen closed and we hadn’t eaten since 12 midday, no help offered by TUI. Onward flight was 14:30 next day so we lost a whole day of our holiday. No food vouchers or compensation of any kind! Hotel in Maderia (TUI Platinum) had no air con until 6pm our room was 29.5 degrees all day so very uncomfortable. Had to speak to management myself as rep was next to useless. Took 3 days to get air on switched back on. AI hotel food was really good, however you could only use the Al a Carte once per stay. If your stay was 3 days or 3 weeks. TUI s answer it’s a hotel policy. However the brochure advertises the holiday as AI with bootable AL a Carte and air conditioned rooms. Again no help from Rep and no compensation offered for miss selling the holiday. Yet our friends who arrived earlier the day we were originally supposed to arrive couldn’t take up their room because the people our flight were supposed to pick up couldn’t go home. They were put up next door hotel for one night and were given £200 compensation for the inconvenience. TUI haven’t even answered our complaint

Tui is an excellent travel agent. We booked a package holiday with them a few years back and it was one of the best holidays ever. Takes the hassle out of having to book everything separately - and if there are any issues (not that we had any), you can contact them for help. Friendly staff and excellent advice on add on services. Highly recommended

We flew to Rhodes in August with TUI due to price of flight being readonable. After booking we heard some dreadful things about them which made us very nervous. However we took advantage of the bag drop service the night before which meant we went straight to security. The flight going out was delayed by 1 hour which i think is managable, the plane itself was awful. Old and rickerty the seats were tiny. I am a size 16 woman but any larger i would have struggled to get my bottom in the seat, they are old and much in need of a make over. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Baggage claim took about an hour on arrival. Coming back was very much the same 30 min delay. Plane exactly the same, bags were on carousel when we got there. Overall a positive experience but planes def need a refit.

Holidaying with them as always been a pleasure at great prices either booking online or in store, first time going abroad with them and don't for a minute have a worry as am sure all will be amazing, have already asked loads of questions and all been dealt with, with amazing customer service

Worst company ever! I will never ever use again. They ruined our holiday to Florida and didn't pay the compensation. Flight seating changed, villa not big enough for group. Wrong allocation of cars. Disappointed beyond belief. There customer service is shocking! Most people I've spoken to have said, TUI are a shocking company!

The shuttle took far longer than was needed. We had to sit and wait for other flights to come in to fill coach before it even left. 1 hr wait. Rep at hotel was warned that the depth of pool was not clear. Twice my friend (ex lifeguard) jumped in to save guests from drowning without even a thank you. Tui still advertising using 5 year old photos when the beach no longer resembles the advertisement.

It's with great regret that I'm writing such a negative review of TUI. For my family and I, we travelled back from Spain on the 9th July to Gatwick airport to find that 2 of our 4 bags were missing. After waiting for over an hour whilst they checked, I completed a missing luggage form. Two days later they contacted me to say the bags had been found and would be delivered to my home. Great! Or so would think! Both bags were damaged, one of which, a hardcase was open with no attempt made to secure the contents, completely smashed in one corner and beyond repair. After calling numerous numbers for any customer service, I was told to register a claim on the TUI baggage portal. I did this on the 12th July, uploaded pics of both cases, listed items that were missing in my claim. Despite leaving numerous messages on my portal claim, contacting TUI via Facebook, it's now the 20th October and I still have no acknowledgement, apology or resolution. Customer service is just not present within TUI. Sadly, neither will I travel or recommend anyone to travel with such a bad travel company.

Advertised a family holiday in jamacia for a family of 3. Then expected the family to be split in to 2 rooms. I didn't spot this within 24 hours so had to pay 150 to change the holiday. I complained and got nowhere. Except they now remove the holiday from a search for a family of 3. But didn't accept this was misleading and unfair and demands I pay. They are too big now. I'll never use them again after years of bookings. They don't care.

Last November I booked a cruise with them in Spain Absolutely fantastic, the service we received at the travel shop with everything necessary before travel. Also on board, courtesy, professional service and help, great communication and support towards everything necessary on our cruise and getting ready for the flight returning home Everything was absolutely done with precision even when we did expected to do things by ourselves Excellent service and good quality

Booked through TUI travel agents locally. Agents very knowledgeable and helpful. Explained costs throughout and advised on location and facilities. Knowledgeable about area and customs. Flights were from local airport and timings good. Printed off all correspondence and when time came also printed off luggage labels and boarding passes. Also exchanged currency at competitive rate. Flight and holiday great would recommend

Out of their depth! Too busy. Not enough staff and the staff they do have aren’t very helpful. The shop staff don’t know enough about the resorts in the different countries. They just open the TUI website and read the information to you. I can do that myself! Reps at the airports band resorts are few and far between. They now communicate with via their app using a messenger function. The plane food is awful. The hotel ratings are actually based on available facilities available rather than the quality of the facilities.

Absolutely love Tui. Would never use another company for our holidays. Always book via them, incredible service. Never had an issue. We upgrade on the plane and upgrade our baggage too they are always super friendly and approachable. We book trips while we are away through them too so we csn explore when we are away and the reps can never do enough for us. I get NHS discount too I mean it's not much a few pounds but it all makes a difference. Customer service is good too. We sadly had one holiday cancelled through no fault of our own and they was super quick to apologise and offer a refund or rebook for new dates.

I love going in the shop so I don't miss anything and come out with heaps of bargains in the sales. One of my favourites for clothes always.

Very flexible and helpful. Great holiday company to use. Their prices are very competitive. Only had 1 issue and it was resolved in a heartbeat. They also like to go above and beyond in everything that they do. Only bad point is the in flights meals have been withdrawn which crying shame.

Just returned from a week away in Majorca,. Lovely time had and a fantastic price. Bargain, we always book with Tui why would you book with anyone else, they're service is excellent and prices are brilliant. Very helpful staff if you need any assistance. Exchange rates also best on market.

I love the clothing as it is very good quality always washes well and is long lasting. The sizing is very good. The prices are very competitive but even better is the reduced rail as they regularly reduce things by 70% or more which makes it very hard to resist also vouchers for extra nectar points well good sizing and competitive prices.

We have used Tui for many years for one or more holidays per year. We have always had great service and holidays from Tui and all have gone smooth. Even during the lockdown we had our holiday cancelled and fully refunded with a complimentary £100 voucher for the inconvenience to help book the next vacation which we did as soon as the green light went on. Very helpful through out.

I had a terrible experience with this company when I was in the Dominican. The complaint process in resort was shocking. They actually moved us for complaining, with the resort security who had a big gun! We continued our holiday and continued the complaint at home. The customer service was virtually non existent! The story is a long one and was proved in court. They lost the court case and we were compensated.

We always use TUI. Been on package holidays and cruises. Always very professional, never had a bad experience. Everything is arranged down to the holiday reps. Their holiday extras are very competitive. Would never use any other company. During Covid we had a criuse cancelled, went into our local tui shop and had the full cost of the holiday refunded there and then. Fantastic customer service.

Continously cancelling flights and putting customers on to alternative flights from different cities without asking the customer if it is suitable, when you inform them that the flight is not suitable they don't try to accommodate you they charge you more to transfer to a more suitable airport or cancel your holiday.
