  • Terrible experience with Vodaphone. A while ago I wanted a new phone contract. The problem I have is reception is particularly bad at my location. I visited a Vodafone store. They offered me a 30 day money back deal if I had a problem. I proceeded with the purchase. When I tested the sim at home I couldn't get reception. After calling Vodaphone I was told my contract was cancelled. About a week later I recieved a bill for £20 partial charge for cancelling contract. I had online chat with rep who apologised and cancelled charge. Only she didn't. I received another bill. I called them. Now they claimed I owed the money. After much hassle they cancelled it again. Another bill duly arrived. I decided to go back to the shop I bought sim from. Very helpful and apologetic. I was offered a reduced contract. Nice except I couldn't get reception. Finally it was cancelled. I would personally never consider anything to do with Vodafone even if there are some online discount code deals. The trouble I had to go to has left me with a negative attitude towards the brand. Mrmac
  • I used to be with Vodafone. And they were great in Hungary. They had the best tariffs, but nowadays we only hear bad things about them. I spent years with them, since I had my first phone in 2002 till 2009. I had no problem with them, just topped up my card when I needed more credit to call or text and there are some good offer on voucher codes online as well. bibolda

Good experience from start. I've experienced a few local areas to me where signal strength seems good but actual call quality can be very patchy along with instant dropped calls. 4g signal good and loads web pages quick with minimal buffering on videos, but never to sure whether it is video source or phone coverage.

I find Vodafone to be the most reliable network. I've other devices on O2 and Three and transferred from EE and have not been disappointed. Very consistent signal strength. No dropped calls or data. Prices are fair and I much prefer the 24 month contracts over 48 which seem to be creeping in with other providers.

My recent mobile contract (2 years) has been great value and service. You do get occasional patchy service out in the sticks but otherwise spot on reception and reliability with some excellent perks. I didn't used to think much of Vodafone but would now reccomend ahead of other providers for mobiles. Haven't used home broadband services.

The Black Friday deals they offer are generous (when I took out my contract). The coverage where I live for a rural area is good, and the handsets on offer are wide ranging with something for everyone. Overseas coverage (mainland Europe) is very good and it's very easy to connect on arrival. I would certainly be wary of unwanted data charges and it's worth setting data limits abroad. The RED entertainment choices are very good and worth having as part of your contract to keep you occupied on the go or when you're just chilling. The pay monthly and sim only contracts both offer decent value for money and cover varying levels of usage. Customer service is reliable and efficient with a real focus on dealing with enquiries swiftly.

I have vodafone mobile, internet and ipad when reneewing my ipad contract it was slashed from 21.31 to 12.80 a month due to loyalty over 10 years with a new ipad & 5gb of internet this is an amazing deal. I also pay less for interenet than the states 22.95 due to discount of 15% and on my phone contract this is the case too I have a new iphone for £32.37 per month with 5gb of internet also

Good monthly contracts and if you barter you can get a decent smartphone at a reasonable monthly cost. Customer service is usually of a high standard but what let's VodafoneUK down is the coverage. Have a very fast fibre optic broadband but the smartphone sometimes struggles to sync with the modem and the mobile data coverage when out and about has turned out to be very disappointing. All in all a good company overall but far from the best.

I have been with them for years and any problems encountered have always been dealt with quickly and efficiently. They are one of the best signals in my area and always offer me great deals when contracts due to expire. Their rewards scheme always has great offers too which I’ve used many times!

Been a customer with Vodafone for about 6 years, may be longer. Never had a problem with the coverage. I think the prices they give are fair for what you want. But I've been sim only for the last 2 years. I have 2 contracts with them a phone sim and a tablet. The tablet deal was offered to me for being a long term customer and was discounted. I have also managed to have my phone sim discounted due to work benefits. Very rarely had to contact customer services but they are prompt and helpful. Also good when dealing with problem they created. Keep an eye on the Bill's when signing up to upgrade and extra contacts. Also keep all correspondence just in case. Definitely would recommend for quality of service.

Vodaphone has been my mobile, broadband and land-line provider for nearly 3 years now. I've never had any issues, I find my signal on my mobile is better than most other suppliers. The customer service I've received in Shrewsbury and Telford store have been amazing. I cannot recommend vodaphone any more than I already do.

Its not bad. Customer service isnt great tbh. I found that when i moved house i cant make, receive phone calls or get 4g in my house at all! Although as soon as i leave my house i have no issues. Have addressed this with them multiple times and no change has been made. Hoping it will get better soon. Other than that the veryme rewards are good. Price wise its ok for what you get but i would consider going elsewhere when my phone contract ends.

always a good signal, customer service always on hand when you need them and the app is also good. However they do offer any discount for excisting customers we have been with them a long time and pay exactly the same as a normal customer would so this is why they dont get a 5 star.

I have been with Vodafone for many years now I’ve never really had major problems with them their customer service has really improved in the last few years. When my contract is up for renewal I always manage to haggle a new deal with them, there was once my phone was broken and my contract didn’t end for another 4-5 months but they let me end it early without any additional charges. Delivery is always next day sometimes they charge a small fee for next day delivery which is about £4.99 but being cheeky I always try to get away with that.

Vodafone is an excellent provider in my experience. Also check if who you work for gets a discount. Most local authorities have negotiated a contract discount, you need to provide a pay slip as evidence but it will get you a good monthly discount. I have never had any service issues and get very good coverage wherever I am.

We are with them for like near 4years now... We decided to switch to another mobile data provider as we find theirs bit expensive, the provider we chose is our household internet provider... We are a bit disappointed that they have called us for like 10 times before they released this code for us to activate to complete the changes... If they do really like us to stay with us atleast they should have made offers when we are about to change rather than harrassing us with calls when we made our decision already

I use their network on PAYG, but find that if not using a bundle, the texts, minutes and data are expensive. I bought a cheap new phone from the shop, it was on a deal and a good price, asking to swap my vodafone number onto the new smaller vodafone chip, and told it would take up to 24 hours. This didn't happen. I went to online chat and they said go to the shop - the shop said it was down to the tech department! After numerous emails, online chats and shop visits to sort it out, I got my number swapped - 3 months later!!! It was disgusting and very stressful. I only stuck with their network because it's the only one I can get a good signal with where I live. Surely it's just a case of a simple computer input? Vodafone themselves should be ashamed of what happened.
