  • Terrible experience with Vodaphone. A while ago I wanted a new phone contract. The problem I have is reception is particularly bad at my location. I visited a Vodafone store. They offered me a 30 day money back deal if I had a problem. I proceeded with the purchase. When I tested the sim at home I couldn't get reception. After calling Vodaphone I was told my contract was cancelled. About a week later I recieved a bill for £20 partial charge for cancelling contract. I had online chat with rep who apologised and cancelled charge. Only she didn't. I received another bill. I called them. Now they claimed I owed the money. After much hassle they cancelled it again. Another bill duly arrived. I decided to go back to the shop I bought sim from. Very helpful and apologetic. I was offered a reduced contract. Nice except I couldn't get reception. Finally it was cancelled. I would personally never consider anything to do with Vodafone even if there are some online discount code deals. The trouble I had to go to has left me with a negative attitude towards the brand. Mrmac
  • I used to be with Vodafone. And they were great in Hungary. They had the best tariffs, but nowadays we only hear bad things about them. I spent years with them, since I had my first phone in 2002 till 2009. I had no problem with them, just topped up my card when I needed more credit to call or text and there are some good offer on voucher codes online as well. bibolda

I enjoy being a Vodafone customer, I’ve been with them for a long time. There has been issues where I swapped from a pay monthly contract to a pay monthly sim. They had it where I was paying two bills. But after a lot of phone calls it was eventually sorted. I like the Vodafone app. You can see you bills, any information easily and get very me rewards which are great. The free roaming and use your contract abroad is handy. I have also just chose Vodafone for my home broadband. Hopefully this is a pleasant experience too.

Easy to switch to and saved alot of money per month by going with them, infant ended up with more. Didn't use a discount code but used a voucher code, which inturn gave me a voucher back to spend in Amazon, which at the time came in very handy. Delivery was free with no set up costa, was quick and well wrapped. Customer service were friendly online and on the phone, they also had a varying degree if knowledge of tech, which I thought was impressive, so all in all I'm impressed 😀

I've had a Vodafone sim for many years now. It's been a bumpy relationship but I'm sort of used to them and that's the reason I'm still with them. The signal is extremely weak in certain areas of the UK. It used to be almost non-existent in Oxford a couple of years ago. Their customer service is not particularly great, and their website is often down. But to be honest, they've improved a lot in the past year. I can now make and receive calls indoors. Hopefully they'll continue to improve.

Have been with Vodafone for over 20 years now and they have been really good with my phone network aswell as broadband. Very happy customer services and can always rely on them for any problems caused, I would defenitly recommend them as a reliable network provider and will also find you the best rate.

This site is so easy to use and especially during the pandemic has had top quality staff to answer any questions, the AskTobi live chat facility is genius and always helpful, especially as its 24hr help. I changed networks to them during the height of the pandemic and it was the easiest transition ever. Would definitely recommend it

Mobile coverage is fairly decent where I live, and usually fast 4G download. However customer service is poor - different advisers tell you different things. Have had broadband for the past 16 months and cannot wait till the end of.my contract so that I can move. It very rarely gets the superfast that I signed up for and no one seems to care either. Apparently it is an issue in my home - but nothing has changed, in fact there are less appliances utilising internet access. Price is ok for b/b at £22 per month for unlimited downloads. My mobile is £38 for a top of the range phone and unlimited download also. Happy with the prices paid - mobile is apparently inclusive of a long term customer discount. I'll be happy to maintain my mobile contract with them, but will be moving broadband providers asap.

Vodafone=vodafail. The last couple of months( During the Local and national lockdown), i have no access to my 4g network and i get disconnected from calls, i often when i try to call i get a message on my phone not registered on the network, when i call vodafone which i have done they have done nothing to help me( i have logged over 20 hours with them including wait time). I have even filed a complaint with vodafone over 2 weeks ago and all i got was a generic email telling me someone is investigating this and will contact me in 5 days(sadly its been over 5 days). Guys dont use this network they should rename to vodafail.

Very poor customer services, inconsistent 4g signal, in and out phone signal, and unable to receive or send messages for most of the months rental! Will be changing to another network asap. Always offer a great price but this is now a mute point as what use is a contract if they don't honor the full terms of the contract!

Never seems to be a problem with signal, super easy to manage online. Good deals. Get deals that suit your usage. They make sure you get the right deal for your needs be it you who loves the internet then your teenagers who likes to use both get the SIM only deals or handset deals the choice is yours. Doing this you will find the customer service is eager to help And you always have your cooling off period if you change your mind with any contract u sign

Great network coverage in most places. Fair prices however do seem to offer better deals for new customers which is frustrating, if only they appreciated loyalty. Speedy delivery and well packaged. I have always had good experience when dealing with them over the phone but did have one experience where they stopped my direct debit without telling me so I then had missed payments. This got resolved but was frustrating.

Good experience from start. I've experienced a few local areas to me where signal strength seems good but actual call quality can be very patchy along with instant dropped calls. 4g signal good and loads web pages quick with minimal buffering on videos, but never to sure whether it is video source or phone coverage.

I find Vodafone to be the most reliable network. I've other devices on O2 and Three and transferred from EE and have not been disappointed. Very consistent signal strength. No dropped calls or data. Prices are fair and I much prefer the 24 month contracts over 48 which seem to be creeping in with other providers.

My recent mobile contract (2 years) has been great value and service. You do get occasional patchy service out in the sticks but otherwise spot on reception and reliability with some excellent perks. I didn't used to think much of Vodafone but would now reccomend ahead of other providers for mobiles. Haven't used home broadband services.

The Black Friday deals they offer are generous (when I took out my contract). The coverage where I live for a rural area is good, and the handsets on offer are wide ranging with something for everyone. Overseas coverage (mainland Europe) is very good and it's very easy to connect on arrival. I would certainly be wary of unwanted data charges and it's worth setting data limits abroad. The RED entertainment choices are very good and worth having as part of your contract to keep you occupied on the go or when you're just chilling. The pay monthly and sim only contracts both offer decent value for money and cover varying levels of usage. Customer service is reliable and efficient with a real focus on dealing with enquiries swiftly.

I have vodafone mobile, internet and ipad when reneewing my ipad contract it was slashed from 21.31 to 12.80 a month due to loyalty over 10 years with a new ipad & 5gb of internet this is an amazing deal. I also pay less for interenet than the states 22.95 due to discount of 15% and on my phone contract this is the case too I have a new iphone for £32.37 per month with 5gb of internet also

Good monthly contracts and if you barter you can get a decent smartphone at a reasonable monthly cost. Customer service is usually of a high standard but what let's VodafoneUK down is the coverage. Have a very fast fibre optic broadband but the smartphone sometimes struggles to sync with the modem and the mobile data coverage when out and about has turned out to be very disappointing. All in all a good company overall but far from the best.

I have been with them for years and any problems encountered have always been dealt with quickly and efficiently. They are one of the best signals in my area and always offer me great deals when contracts due to expire. Their rewards scheme always has great offers too which I’ve used many times!

Been a customer with Vodafone for about 6 years, may be longer. Never had a problem with the coverage. I think the prices they give are fair for what you want. But I've been sim only for the last 2 years. I have 2 contracts with them a phone sim and a tablet. The tablet deal was offered to me for being a long term customer and was discounted. I have also managed to have my phone sim discounted due to work benefits. Very rarely had to contact customer services but they are prompt and helpful. Also good when dealing with problem they created. Keep an eye on the Bill's when signing up to upgrade and extra contacts. Also keep all correspondence just in case. Definitely would recommend for quality of service.
