Cat found hidden in a bag by airport scanners

You see some strange items in peoples suitcases when passing through airport security, but you don't expect to see a cat

Well the cat was truly out the bag here when security spotted it on their x ray machine

When questioned the passenger said she didn't know the cat was there

The cat was fine in the end but probably would not have survived if it had gone in the hold with the bag where it would have been stored on the flight

I don't know how anyone would not spot a cat in their hand luggage, surely they would have heard the cat meowing or making some movement , there is definitely something very strange with this story and explanation

At least it wasn't a cat astrophic outcome this time
